Becoming an Egg Again (Part 2)
Hearing Sage Dragon's shout, Irene quickly turned around and focused on correcting the trajectory of the Space Magic ball.
Because Irene had applied gravity to the air around the Spatial Teleportation Array, everyone Teleportation Array was rendered immobile. Therefore, Yelibell could only shout across the distance, "Irene, what are you doing? Didn't you promise Sordil you'd come with us?"
Irene glanced apologetically at Yelibell, then said, "Sister Yelibell, I'm sorry, I can't go with you. I have to stay here with the bad guy!"
"But Sordil, my brother..."
Yelibell was about to say something more, but the violent tremors emitted when the Spatial Teleportation Array was activated forced her to concentrate on blocking her hearing, making it impossible for her to continue the conversation.
Sensing that the Teleportation Array was about to activate, Irene shouted to the Sage Dragon, "Belserion, hurry up and get Heradi and the others in, or it will be too late!"
"Good!"
"Gravity Addition"
"Speed Boost!"
As Belserion cast Enchantment on Heradi and the others, the group, who had been lying on the ground, suddenly took off and flew towards the center of the Teleportation Array at an extremely fast speed.
Just as Heradi and the others entered the Teleportation Array, the Teleportation Array suddenly flashed with a large amount of blue-purple light.
As time went on, the blue-purple light continued to increase, and finally these lights condensed into a pillar of light that reached the sky, turning the surrounding area into a blue-purple world.
Three or four minutes later, the beam of light reached its peak brightness. Just then, the mighty beam of light suddenly exploded, transforming into countless blue-purple specks that dissipated into the air. At the same time, a tremendous roar echoed from the ground, followed by a cloud of dust billowing into the sky.
The earth-shattering commotion couldn't escape the notice of those nearby, but the eastern battlefield was engulfed in chaos, and everyone was worried about their own lives, so there was no time to investigate. As for the others, although they wanted to see what was happening, they didn't have the courage. Therefore, apart from the three who remained (Old Suo, Irene, and Sage Dragon), no one else knew what had transpired.
A moment later, the smoke and dust dissipated, and Sage Dragon and Irene discovered that the location of the Teleportation Array had turned into a bottomless abyss.
Startled by the teleportation's power, Her Majesty the Queen exchanged a glance with Sage Dragon and asked curiously, "You rascal, wasn't that Teleportation Array? How could it cause such terrible destruction?"
"Because what just happened wasn't an ordinary teleportation, but a cross-dimensional teleportation. When two different worlds teleport, a huge difference in spatial pressure is generated, causing spatial energy to surge and produce powerful destructive force!"
Hearing the explanation that came to mind, Sage Dragon and Her Majesty the Queen nodded in understanding, and then stood quietly in place, looking at Sordil not far away.
Distracted by answering Her Majesty the Queen, the blue and black energies became even more volatile, rushing outwards.
As a die-hard Fairy Tail fan, Sordil knew better than anyone what was inside him and what the consequences would be if it escaped. So, Sordil desperately compressed it, pushing it back into his body.
"Buzz!"
Just as Sordil was struggling to drag the blue and black energy, a buzzing sound suddenly came from inside his body. Immediately afterwards, a large amount of seven-colored energy surged out of his body.
"Holy crap! What are these?"
Old Suo was completely dumbfounded as he watched the third surge of energy emanating from his body.
However, while he was bewildered, the seven-colored energy was not. So, during the time Old Suo was without power, the seven-colored energy swept through his body like a whirlwind, swiftly and decisively packing up the blue and black energy that had been troubling Old Suo for so long, and then sending it deep into his body. After doing this, the seven-colored energy didn't stop, but continued its outward rush.
When Old Suo finally realized what was happening and tried to retract the seven-colored energy, he found that the other party completely ignored him and continued to do as they pleased.
Seeing the multicolored energy surge into his body and form a circular membrane around him, Old Suo instantly guessed that these multicolored energies were trying to confine him. Faced with this critical situation, Sordil hurriedly mobilized his magic power to try and stop the multicolored energy. However, at that moment, he suddenly discovered that he could no longer sense magic power.
Since he couldn't summon magic, Old Suo had no choice but to ask his wife for help. However, his signal to speak traveled through his nerve pathways for a long time without any response from his body. He then realized that his body had already been controlled by the Seven-Colored Brother. So, Old Suo could only watch helplessly as he was enveloped by the Seven-Colored Energy and transformed into a giant rugby ball... wait, wrong word! Not a rugby ball, but a giant egg.
The instant the seven-colored energy surged from Sordil's body, Irene realized something was wrong. She rushed over with the Sage Dragon, but she underestimated the speed of the energy. By the time they arrived, Sordil had already transformed into a giant egg.
"You bad guy!"
"You rascal, what's wrong? Are you alright?"
"Hey kid, stop playing dead, make a sound!"
Although Sordil, who was inside the giant egg, could hear Irene and the other person's voices, apart from his brain, all his other parts were paralyzed. So he could do nothing but listen to the commotion outside.
After calling out for a long time without receiving any response, Sage Dragon realized that either Sordil had already left this world or he had lost consciousness. So he quickly stopped Irene from calling out.
"Irene, stop yelling!"
Upon hearing Sage Dragon's words, Her Majesty the Queen stopped shouting, turned her head, and looked at him with a puzzled expression.
"Irene, we've been calling him for so long, but the brat hasn't responded at all. This means he's either not hearing us or he's lost consciousness."
"Oh no! What should we do?"
Seeing Irene pacing around like a cat on a hot tin roof, Sage Dragon chuckled and shook his head, then said, "Hehe! Irene, you're really letting your concern cloud your judgment! Since the brat has lost consciousness, why don't we just move this giant egg away?"
After Sage Dragon's reminder, Irene realized that in her panic, she had forgotten the simplest solution. So she laughed too.
"Haha! Belserion, you're right. Since we can't wake him up, we'll just move him away. As long as he's with us, we'll figure out a way to rescue him someday!"
"Haha! It's good that you've come to your senses!"
"Alright! Belserion, let's get started!"
Sage Dragon nodded, then flew above the giant egg and lifted it up. At that moment, Irene jumped onto his back from the ground. After catching Irene, Sage Dragon flew straight towards the Cuyis Tree Sea.
In a small town in the Principality of Saint Dreo
"Zeref, haven't you already developed Dragon Slayer Magic? Why won't you hand over Acnologia's power to me? Do you intend to break our agreement?"
Hearing the doctor's roar, Zeref, who was writing on parchment, abruptly stopped what he was doing. Without turning his head, he said, "It's not that I don't want to give you Acnologia's power, it's just that the time isn't right yet!"
"Not the right time? What do you mean, not the right time?"
"The current Dragon Slayer Magic has a great hidden danger and can cause incalculable harm to the user, so I will improve it before handing it over to you!"
"Improvement? (Doctor)"
The doctor frowned and sighed, then continued, "Zeref, you're not unaware of the situation outside, are you? There's no time for you to improve your magic now."
"Of course I know what's going on outside, that's why I need to make improvements, otherwise..."
Zeref had just finished speaking when a sudden commotion outside prevented him from continuing. The two exchanged a glance, then ran towards the door.
When they arrived at the gate, they found many people hurriedly fleeing eastward.
Zeref immediately gave the doctor a wink, and the doctor, understanding the signal, quickly stepped forward and stopped an elderly man, then asked, "Sir, where are you going in such a hurry?"
The old man glanced at the two of them, then asked, "Young men, don't you know?"
"You know? Know what? (Doctor)"
Seeing the two bewildered men, the old man sighed and said, "Alas! Young men, you don't know this! Not long ago, all the high-ranking members of the United Front Alliance were killed in battle, and the United Front Alliance was defeated. Now, the Evil Dragon from the Western Continent is coming! I advise you to run for your lives! Alas!"
After saying this, the old man bypassed the two men and fled eastward.
"Clang!"
Upon hearing the old man's words, Zeref, who was standing in front of the door, suddenly collapsed onto the door panel and slid down to the ground.
"Impossible! (Zeref)"
"Impossible! (Zeref)"
"That's impossible! The Bandit can't be dead! He can't be dead!" (Zeref)
Seeing Zeref constantly muttering to himself, the doctor quickly walked up to him, grabbed him from the ground, and dragged him into the courtyard.
Upon entering the room, the doctor threw Zeref to the ground and roared, "Impossible, impossible! What else can you say besides this? If you had handed over Acnologia's power to me earlier, perhaps the high-ranking members of the United Front Alliance wouldn't have died in battle, the United Front Alliance wouldn't have disbanded, and so many people wouldn't have perished!"
Hearing the doctor's roar, Zeref stopped his rambling, looked up at the other man, and said, "Heh! Even with the intelligence of Bandit, you can't change the course of the battle. Even if I give you the power of Acnologia and you go to the front lines, what can you do?"
