History

Tang Hao discovered that his son, Tang San, possessed Twin Martial Souls and chose to nurture him from the shadows rather than openly reveal his own strength. Believing Nuoding Academy would not be enough on its own, he coerced Yu Xiaogang into accepting Tang San as a disciple, suppressing both Yu Xiaogang and Tang San with his power to ensure it happened. 16 72

After staying away from Ah Yin for six years out of guilt, Tang Hao returned to her cave intending to share the news of Tang San's awakening. He found both Ah Yin and the Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Bone she left behind missing. He searched the surrounding mountains and villages, then blamed Spirit Hall and planned retaliation against its branches before postponing it to watch over Xiao Wu, whom he viewed as a future Hundred-Thousand-Year Spirit Ring for Tang San. 20

Tang Hao later secretly entered Nuoding Academy after Tang San was injured during a spar with Xiao Wu. He inspected Tang San, found no clear abnormality, healed him with Soul Power, and remained nearby to guard him against further attacks. 22

When Mu Zhe stole Tang San's memories, Tang Hao pursued him from Nuoding City to a valley. Mu Zhe deceived him with shadows before dropping a stored mountain from the sky. Tang Hao survived by using his Martial Soul Avatar and the Clear Sky Nine Absolutes, but suffered severe internal injuries and realized too late that the ambush had been intended to draw him away from Tang San. 43 44

He later fought the Titan Giant Ape in the Star Dou Great Forest, driven by his desire to obtain Xiao Wu's and the ape's Hundred-Thousand-Year Spirit Rings and Soul Bones. Xiao Wu exploited his pride to keep him fighting, allowing Mu Zhe to ambush him from behind with ice-and-fire Soul Power. 76

By the time he intervened to save Tang San from the Titan Giant Ape, Tang Hao was identified as a Level 96 Super Douluo. His earlier injuries—one from Qian Renxue and another from Mu Zhe—left him able to exert only about seventy percent of his strength. 120

Tang Hao is usually depicted as a disheveled, alcohol-scented man in dark clothing. When he fights, his Soul Power manifests as a blood-red, oppressive presence. 30 120

Tang Hao is fiercely protective of Tang San, but that protection is controlling and often coercive. He manipulates Tang San's education, secretly follows him, and immediately responds with lethal hostility when he believes Tang San is threatened. 16 22 43

He is proud of his status as a Titled Douluo and openly looks down on ordinary people. This pride also makes him vulnerable to provocation: Xiao Wu's taunts push him to abandon caution during his battle with the Titan Giant Ape. 30 76

His attachment to Ah Yin is bound to guilt and grief. Her disappearance drives him toward revenge against Spirit Hall, while his treatment of Xiao Wu shows that he is willing to imprison and exploit a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast for Tang San's future. 20 76
