Great Luo signifies a preliminary ascension in which a cultivator's essence becomes fundamentally different from that of Postnatal beings. A sufficiently powerful Postnatal cultivator may contend with a Great Luo, but cannot truly defeat one without attaining the same level of existence 898.

Achieving Great Luo means transcending the restrictions of space-time. A Great Luo exists freely and eternally across past, present, future, and divergent timelines; alterations to an ordinary timeline cannot simply erase or weaken such a being 967 1137.

• Great Luo are described as nearly indestructible, possessing infinite lifespan and freedom from ordinary calamities, tribulations, and karmic cycles 1171 1186.
• Their attainment is eternal across space-time: to attain Dao once is to attain it throughout past and future 1585.
• They can create complete great universes, making ordinary wealth, power, heavenly materials, and earthly treasures largely meaningless to them 1013 1017 1135.

Dao-Transformed Bodies and Avatars

A Great Luo's Dao-transformed bodies can spread throughout the boundless Multiverse 1141.
