Confident Revenge, the Power of Fourth-Tier Undead
Khajit stood atop the dilapidated temple, his gaze coldly fixed on Tang Zheng opposite him, a wicked and cruel smile on his face.
"I've been thinking about how to get revenge, but I never expected you to deliver yourself to my doorstep, and even bring the ' Orb of Death '."
"Although you ruined the original plan, killing you and retrieving the ' Orb of Death ' would only be a waste of time."
A chilling atmosphere permeated the air.
Snap! Snap!
Tang Zheng raised his palm and gently patted the red robe he was wearing, as if brushing off the dust that had settled on him.
"You seem very confident, old friend."
Tang Zheng was equally curious as to why Khajit had been able to hold back until now before finally deciding to take action.
Besides wanting to know his true purpose, the other party must have complete confidence in defeating him to dare to be so arrogant.
"You arrogant fool, you have no idea how powerful [Zurrernorn] is, much less how terrifying the Alliance Leader is."
Khajit's eyes grew increasingly cold. He gripped his Magic Staff tightly and slammed it into the ground, causing a surge of dense Negative Energy to erupt.
"This is a new power I've just mastered, a gift I prepared especially for you!"
Thump!
A surge of dense Negative Energy erupted from the Magic Staff and flowed into the ground, followed by a vibration resembling the striking of a drumstick.
A dark blue magic circle appeared beneath Khajit's feet, and in an instant, a roar containing a certain intimidating effect rang out from the magic circle.
Splash!
A rotting, Zombie -like monster, resembling a mass of Undead, emerged from the magic circle, its enormous size spanning between the two sides.
Its height even surpasses that of the dilapidated temple, reaching over four meters.
Thump!
The light from the magic circle did not dissipate.
Another monster emerged from the magic circle. Compared to the enormous undead Giant, this monster was of normal height and looked similar to the Skeletal Warrior Third Tier: Summon Undead.
However, the bones were dark red in color, and the opponent wielded a dark red bone longsword, a dark red shield, and even carried a combined longbow on his back.
All three weapons were imbued with a dim magical glow; this was an armed skeleton wielding magical artifacts!
The light from the magic circle dissipated, and two Undead monsters, one large and one small, appeared before Tang Zheng.
I saw these two monsters.
"Undead Composite Giant" and "Red Skeleton Warrior"? Tang Zheng raised his eyelids slightly.
One is a composite Zombie monster, and the other is a subspecies of Skeletal Warrior. Although both are Third-Tier Undead, their actual combat strength is stronger, reaching the Fourth-Tier level.
These are not ordinary Undead; these two types of Undead cannot be summoned using normal magical methods.
Just like the "Death Knight" that Bone Lord loves to use, they are usually created or summoned using special skills.
"Arrogant bastard! Repent for your arrogance!"
Khajit sensed the powerful Negative Energy emanating from the two monsters, a satisfied look appearing on his gloomy face, and he roared.
Khajit didn't waste his time in the legendary Undead City; he made use of its Negative Energy and the power of the Alliance Leader.
These two Undead monsters, possessing the power of Fourth-Tier Undead, were created.
With Khajit's Necromancy System- specialized abilities, he can control 100 ordinary Undead at once, but his control over powerful Undead is quite limited, especially at this level.
Controlling these two is already his current limit.
With these two Undead monsters, he was confident he could kill Tang Zheng and recall the battle they fought.
Khajit knew that Tang Zheng's strength was probably not that great; even if he was stronger than him, he would at most be at the level of Fourth-Tier Magic caster.
With this level of skill, they still want to cooperate with their leader?
That's a joke!
"Kill him!" Khajit commanded the two Undead to charge towards Tang Zheng, looking at the other side with great anticipation.
As expected, the other party panicked, but no panic occurred.
"How boring."
Seeing the two Undead charging towards him, Tang Zheng raised his palm expressionlessly:
"Dragon Lightning!"
A dazzling blue flash of lightning illuminated the night in an instant, transforming into a surging dragon-shaped bolt of lightning that roared out, with a flash of blue light in the air.
The two Undead that had just been summoned instantly turned to ashes and vanished. The terrifying lightning dissipated by most, but it still released a wide-range aftershock attack and continued to bombard Khajit.

"Fifth-Tier Magic..."
"Lightning-Attribute Defense!"
Khajit's sunken eyes trembled as he stared incredulously at the terrifying lightning that greeted his eyes. His composure vanished, and he screamed in terror.
Boom!
"Ah--"
The spot where Khajit stood was enveloped in lightning. With a scream, the figure standing on the steps of the dilapidated temple was blasted off and crashed onto the ground of the graveyard.
The blue lightning dissipated.
Khajit lay sprawled on the ground, protected by "Lightning-Attribute Defense" and only the aftershocks of the Dragon Lightning.
It didn't appear to be seriously injured, except for numerous burn marks on its exposed hands, face, neck, and other areas outside the magic robe.
"How could this be... How could you possibly possess such immense power?"
Khajit braced himself on the ground, awkwardly raising his head to look at Tang Zheng not far away, and spoke in a trembling voice filled with fear.
The opponent was clearly a powerful Magic Caster possessed Fifth-Tier Magic power, so why did they use a disguised method like "Angel Summoning" in the first place?
With that terrifying magical power, he could have been killed easily back then.
Khajit's eyes twitched, somewhat bewildered, and a feeling of indescribable frustration welled up inside him.
That bastard!
Possessing such immense power, yet still being so cautious—isn't that overly cautious?
Shasha~

Footsteps approached.
"Failed again." Khajit groaned inwardly, suddenly finding his own overconfidence laughable.
Am I going to die?
Khajit knew that the leader could allow him to fail once, but would never allow him to fail a second time.
I'm so unwilling to accept this!
All his efforts ultimately resulted in him losing twice to the same person.
Tang Zheng approached Khajit, looked at his figure that had given up resistance, and suddenly said, "Want to become Undead?"
Khajit, who was resigned to his fate, looked up at Tang Zheng blankly.
"I originally wanted to cooperate with your alliance leader, but since you also possess the ' Spiral of Death ' ritual, cooperating with you is not out of the question," Tang Zheng said.
Khajit's despairing and dejected expression slowly disappeared, and an unusual light appeared in his pupils.
"Why?" Khajit asked incredulously.
"As I've said before, what interests you [Zurrernorn] is the ' Spiral of Death ' ritual. I want to determine if this ritual can truly turn humans into Undead."
"Since you're so eager to become Undead, that's perfect. I can use you to test it out."
Tang Zheng spoke with a cold laugh, making no attempt to hide his purpose.
These words, when they reached Khajit's ears, were like a divine response to his inner resentment, and the situation that was originally destined to end was reversed.
Khajit excitedly got up from the ground.
Even facing Tang Zheng, an enemy who had killed him once, was insignificant compared to his profound desire to become Undead.
The mysterious person in front of me is very powerful. Relying on his strength might make up for the time wasted before, and even speed up the completion of my original plan.
"You're really not kidding." Khajit's hands trembled, still feeling somewhat incredulous.
"What do you think?" Tang Zheng took out the "Orb of Death" and activated its magic, creating a huge magic circle beneath his feet.
The next moment.
A loud "boom!" was heard.
The roaring figure of the Bone Dragon flew out of the magic circle and hovered above the two people's heads. A white bone shone faintly in the moonlight.
"Bone Dragon!"
"You, how did you do that!" Khajit's eyes were glazed over.
He spent over a year collecting Negative Energy, but still couldn't meet the requirements to summon a Bone Dragon, while the "Orb of Death" had only been in the other party's hands for a short time.
No wonder this mysterious person was so confident in wanting to cooperate with their leader. With the Bone Dragon's abilities, apart from the leader, none of the other top disciples were a match for him.
He looked at Tang Zheng, who was completely wrapped in a red robe and seemed to be quietly watching him.
Khajit bowed slightly, a wicked and excited smile spreading across his face, "I will tell you everything I know and fully assist you in completing the ' Spiral of Death ' ritual."
As the weaker party, Khajit needs to demonstrate more of her value.
"It's a pleasure to cooperate." A smile appeared on Tang Zheng's lips behind his black mask. Upon careful consideration, he felt much more at ease and easier to control his cooperation with Khajit.
Spiral of Death?
Others might not know, but Tang Zheng certainly did; he knew the true origin of this magical ritual, and Khajit had no chance of succeeding.
Even if it can be performed normally, it will take at least several years.
"It's a pleasure working with you, old friend." Khajit grinned, adopting a very humble posture. The scene of wanting to kill Tang Zheng not long ago seemed like just an illusion.
Bang!
Khajit suddenly felt a sharp pain in the back of his neck, his eyes rolled back, and he lost consciousness.
Tang Zheng picked up the Khajit and disappeared.
On the other side.
Holy Kingdom.
The ten-person exploration team that Holy Princess Calca and Kelart secretly dispatched without alerting any of the great nobles finally brought news after their anxious wait.
These ten individuals are all highly skilled Scout and Thief, recruited from scouts in various units within the Holy Kingdom. No one is more suited to intelligence gathering than these ten.
This elite force was almost completely wiped out, with only one person surviving.
When they found the enemy, they were already on the verge of death. If it weren't for their tenacious will to hold on until they were salvaged by a ship, they would probably have been wiped out.
Inside the palace.
Princess Calca, certain that the young man had regained consciousness after being treated by several Cleric, was relieved. "It's good that he's alive."
At the same time, I felt guilty and sad.
The remaining nine people all died in the Abelion Hills, and their remains may never have been found.
"Your Majesty, you need to rest well." A middle-aged secretary/maid with impeccable manners stood solemnly to the side and reminded him.
"You know the current situation; it needs to be dealt with as soon as possible." Hearing the serious voice beside her, Princess Calca smiled helplessly and explained softly.
"You don't need to explain to the servants." The middle-aged secretary maid's voice remained stiff. Her Highness the Holy Queen was good in every way, except that she was too kind and gentle in personality.
