Background / History

Tsunade is Nawaki Senju's elder sister and one of the few Senju still visible in Konoha as the clan declines. She personally arranged for Orochimaru to instruct Nawaki, while encouraging her brother after his defeat at the Ninja Academy. 2 6 7

During the Second Shinobi World War, Tsunade arrives with Konoha reinforcements after Nawaki is killed in a Stone Ninja ambush.
