Background / History

Arrival on Earth

Hexi is fished out of the Drifting Bottle by Han Fei as a silver-haired woman from the Angel Civilization. Han Fei recognizes her as its second-in-command, the Heavenly Base King, and considers her an exceptionally dangerous king-level figure. 25

The individual recovered by Han Fei is an injured incarnation with severe amnesia. She retains fragmented knowledge of galaxies, civilizations, and technology, but cannot remember who she is. After testing her reaction to the name, Han Fei tells her that she is Hexi and fabricates a history in which he rescued and concealed her after she fled enemies. 26 27

Han Fei gives her the public cover identity Secretary He and makes her his secretary. He also concludes that the Drifting Bottle imposes a restraint preventing her from harming him, though it cannot force her loyalty or control her mind. 28

Work for Han Fei and the Alliance

Within two months, Hexi upgrades selected Earth technologies, fills gaps in their technological base, and raises Han Fei’s laser weapons to an interstellar-civilization standard. Her ability to rapidly understand and innovate from unfamiliar technical data makes her central to Han Fei’s expansion plans. 29

She relocates much of her work to Tianxuan Star, where she becomes director of the research institute and oversees major technological, genetic, military, and infrastructure programs. Even while managing numerous projects, she remains Han Fei’s primary scientific adviser and a key authority in Alliance development. 48 56 116 117

Identity as a Clone

The narrative distinguishes Han Fei’s Hexi from an original/main-body Hexi. The recovered Hexi is eventually revealed to be a clone whose consciousness no longer shares with the original. She fears that reunion with the main body could result in her being controlled, formatted, and erased. 232 251

Han Fei later admits that he knowingly exploited her memory loss because he wanted the “God of Scientific Research” working for him. He also admits that he developed feelings for her during their subsequent relationship. 250

Hexi ultimately accepts that her current existence and memories are her own, rather than allowing her identity to be defined solely by the original Hexi. 251

Angel War and Later Leadership

As Heavenly Base King, Hexi trains and advises Angel Yan, supports Yan’s succession as Angel King, and grants her access to the Sacred Knowledge Treasury. 213 281

During the war against the demons, Hexi personally fights on Mars and later battles Liang Bing/Morgana with advanced angelic calculations and Star Fate Strikes. 242 278

She is exceptionally diligent and professional, often handling enormous research workloads without abandoning difficult projects. Her confidence in the laboratory is matched by a practical willingness to admit when a result will require more time or cannot yet be reproduced. 39 86 89

Despite her mature and intellectual bearing, Hexi can be playful, sarcastic, and teasing—particularly around Han Fei. She also dislikes being treated solely as high-level labor, and becomes visibly frustrated when he overloads her with research demands. 38 56 119 257

Her later actions show a more calculating side. She tests Yan’s principles through deliberately controversial proposals and considers large-scale recruitment methods that challenge conventional angelic ideas of justice. 309
