As Jiang Dali and the others sank their qi and dropped from midair, the Demon Dragon's green hair streamed behind it. It opened its gleaming fanged mouth, let out a delighted low roar, and plunged into the river below, churning the waters as it danced about excitedly.
As a monster capable of living on land, in water, and in the air, the Demon Dragon actually spent the most time in water and preferred vast bodies of water. Its ability to ride clouds through the sky was comparatively its weakest trait.
Though the Demon Dragon flew extremely fast, it relied entirely on controlling the power of Heaven and Earth to do so. It usually had to rest for half a day after flying for one hour. In the water, however, it could roam freely for a long time, and its strength increased greatly.
Therefore, in Jiang Dali's plan to subdue the Fire Qilin, he had decided to have the Demon Dragon lie in ambush in the river. Once the Fire Qilin was successfully lured out, the Demon Dragon would entangle it in the water. With one side weakened and the other strengthened, success was certain.

"Amitabha! This humble monk is Hui Qi. Greetings, Benefactor Jiang!"
At the entrance to Lingyun Cave, the people from Wudang and Shaolin all stepped forward to greet Jiang Dali, then exchanged a few courteous words with Dongfang Bubai and the others.
Jiang Dali returned their greetings with an easy smile. His gaze settled on Monk Hui Qi, his eyes fixed squarely on the other man's Zen-filled gaze. With a hint of admiration and probing in his tone, he said, "Everyone knows Shaolin hides dragons and crouching
