Zhou Ming guided the Human Clan’s growth, secured its Fortune, and thwarted Hongjun’s plan to sacrifice Houtu by arranging for Pingxin to establish the Underworld and Earthly Dao. Wu moved the Human Tribe under Wu Clan protection and created writing as tensions grew among the Sages and Di Jun’s sons began learning to control their flames.

Zhou Ming guided the Human Clan’s early development while the Demon Race and Immortal Court slid into open conflict. As Zhou Ming strengthened the Wu Clan and created a world within the Dao Origin Divine Pearl, Di Jun secured Xi He's cooperation in using Taiyin Star for the Demon Race’s array.

  • Zhou Ming left the Dao Origin Divine Pearl and the Fragment of the Jade of Creation with the Ancestral Wu, explained the Human Clan’s importance, and told Houtu to appoint Hou Yi as its guard.
  • Nuwa declined Di Jun and Taiyi’s request to lead the Demon Race, while Fuxi chose to return to the Heavenly Court.
  • Zhou Ming gave Hou Yi the Innate Gourd Vine, then visited Zhen Yuanzi and Hong Yun and urged them to recognize the Human Clan’s potential.

Arc 6Heavenly Marriage and Eastern Sea War

Di Jun and Xi He’s Heavenly Marriage drew Zhou Ming into a contest for Merit, while the Demon Race and Immortal Court prepared for war. Nuwa ended the battle in the Demon Race’s favor, and Wu then moved to keep Laozi’s teachings from drawing the Human Clan’s strongest cultivators away.

  • Di Jun secured Xi He’s agreement to help the Demon Race and later asked Nuwa to preside over their Heavenly Marriage, which required borrowing the Innate Red Embroidered Ball from Zhou Ming.
  • Zhou Ming lent Nuwa the ball on the condition that he co-preside over the marriage, then collected his share of its Merit and reclaimed the treasure during the ceremony.
  • East King Duke sought Candle Dragon’s support against the Demon Race, and Candle Dragon agreed to commit the Dragon Clan’s elders while keeping Ao Hai and other elites out of the war.
  • Di Jun and East King Duke brought their armies and great arrays into battle over the Eastern Sea, suffering heavy casualties as Nuwa headed to the battlefield under Hongjun’s order to stop the war without destroying the Immortal Court.
  • Nuwa broke the Immortal Court’s array, demanded the surrender of those who had made pills and treasures from Demon Race corpses, and killed the chief culprits when East King Duke refused.

Arc 7The Human Clan’s Fortune

Zhou Ming helped Nuwa secure the Human Clan’s Fortune and the Kongtong Seal, then manipulated the rise of the Sages and staged a fight to conceal his strength. As Houtu set out on her journey, Zhou Ming prepared the Wu Clan to thwart Hongjun’s plan for her transformation into Reincarnation.

  • Xuandu weighed Wu’s warning that studying under Laozi could weaken his ties to the Human Clan and left to consider the choice.
  • Zhou Ming persuaded Nuwa to demand that Laozi renounce the Human Clan’s Fortune, and Nuwa agreed to share half of it with Zhou Ming in exchange for his protection.
  • Nuwa forced Laozi to swear that he would not occupy the Human Clan’s Fortune, after which he established the Human Sect and attained Sagehood.
  • Nuwa defeated Taiqing in their fight over the Kongtong Seal, then handed the seal to Zhou Ming as Primordial Lord Tianzun and Tongtian left to establish their own sects and become Sages.
  • Zhou Ming claimed one-third of the merit promised by Jieyin and Zhunti, then watched them make enough Great Vows to become Sages together.

Arc 8Reincarnation and Human Writing

Zhou Ming thwarted Hongjun’s attempt to sacrifice Houtu, and Pingxin established the Underworld and Earthly Dao. Wu moved the Human Tribe under Wu Clan protection, created writing, and the arc ended as tensions grew among the Sages and the Ten Little Golden Crows began training to control their flames.

  • Hongjun summoned the Six Saints and ordered them to trap Zhou Ming, but Houtu returned to Pangu Hall after realizing Reincarnation was needed and consulted Zhou Ming before acting.
  • Zhou Ming brought Houtu, the Ancestral Wu, Zhen Yuanzi, and Ancestor Minghe to the Sea of Blood, where the Six Saints trapped him and Hongjun demanded that Houtu use her true body.
  • Di Jiang formed the Du Tian Shen Sha Great Array, forcing Hongjun to flee, while Zhou Ming defeated the Three Pure Ones and extracted concessions from the Saints.
  • Pingxin established the Six Paths, the Underworld, and the Earthly Dao, then appointed Zhen Yuanzi Great Emperor Fengdu, Minghe Lord of the Asura Path, and Wu Clan members to Underworld posts.
