As usual, Sea King wore a long robe as he inspected the island's construction.

The island's current development left Sea King extremely satisfied.

Relying on the knowledge stored within the Shadow King's Legacy, the Mu Te Army's strength had steadily grown. What Sea King needed now was stable development. He believed that if this continued, the Mu Te Army would soon become the foremost of the ten War Merchant Guilds and embark on the path toward the Yellow Springs Merchant Guild's Central Sea Region.

Then he would find a way to replace the Yellow Springs Merchant Guild.

As he watched the craftsmen building new high-end warships by the shore, Sea King nodded in satisfaction.

But just as he was about to turn and head for the next location, his expression suddenly froze as he looked toward the horizon.

In the distance, a massive golden bird was diving down from the sky, its target New End Island.

Sea King knew this giant bird well. He knew that a mission from the Yellow Springs Merchant Guild had arrived.

He was not surprised by this. With the title of a War Merchant Guild hanging over them, receiving missions was only natural.

The giant bird arrived above him, dropped a letter, and flapped away.

Sea King waved a hand at the letter that had fallen to the ground, drawing it into his grasp.

Calmly, he opened the letter and began reading its contents.

But after only a quick glance, Sea King's expression turned incredibly grim.
