Background

Lu Chen obtained the Demon Hand after repeatedly rerolling a System skill draw. With only five Spirit Crystals remaining, he accepted the cursed ability because he needed a reliable means to harm Evil Spirits. Black aura entered his left arm, causing extreme pain as Ghost God power merged and competed with his blood energy. 48

The hand rapidly became both an asset and a liability. It could destroy Evil Spirit spiritualities, but every absorbed Evil Spirit strengthened the taboo power within it. After the Slaughter Dog Knife's destruction triggered a mental invasion, Lu Chen resisted through Master-level Swordsmanship; Conqueror's Haki remained his intended safeguard against future corruption. 66 67

In the Maze Realm, Lu Chen deliberately advanced the Demon Hand by draining his own Vitality through Soul Devouring Hand. The resulting manifestation, Phantom Keiga, allowed him to contend with enemies that hid in alternate dimensions, but the advancement confirmed that each new Ghost God brought a greater risk of possession. 121 123 125

The Demon Hand later became a vessel for multiple forbidden powers, including the Seven Demon Gods, the Power of Darkness, death aura, and the Black Rope Heaven Punishment Myōō's connection to Hell. Rather than eliminating these dangerous forces, Lu Chen relies on their conflicts and layered restraints to keep them under his control. 507 508 516 518

Appearance

The Demon Hand manifests as Lu Chen's altered left hand: a blood-black arm with exposed red veins running over enlarged muscles. It emits black aura and draws strength from the darkness at night. 48

• Its initial coloration is black-red, produced by the merger of Ghost God aura and Lu Chen's blood energy. 48
