Background / History

Lu Chen obtained Avalon as a Mythic skill during a skill exchange. Its passive recovery immediately changed his combat style: rather than rationing ultimate moves, he could rapidly restore his stamina and continuously unleash them. Avalon’s energy supply was not limitless, however; greater ranks and Lu Chen's enlarged body increased consumption beyond what it could initially sustain. 305 306 314 318

Avalon first existed as a beautiful but insubstantial spiritual world. Lu Chen used Faith Power to draw Da Zheng's remnant soul inside, discovering that Avalon could preserve souls after death and receive their prayers. This established it as the prototype of a God Kingdom and a sanctuary for deceased believers. 351 352

After Avalon absorbed the Magic Eye Small World's fragment, it solidified enough to store real objects. Its tenfold shrinking effect greatly enlarged its practical capacity, allowing it to shelter Petitioners and potentially house Undead creatures. 421 435

Faith gathered through Lu Chen's conquests and Yun Zhou's propaganda drove Avalon into the Mystic Realm. Its core Golden Apple Tree then bore its first Golden Apples, turning Avalon from a recovery-focused refuge into a source of Divine Objects. 478

Lu Chen later linked Avalon with Hell and pursued a Three Realms structure: Fairy Land above, Hell below, and a Human Realm for the living. Avalon is depicted as a serene fairyland centered on a crystal-clear lake and the Golden Apple Tree. Its scenery includes green grass, blooming flowers, and a tranquil atmosphere that gives Lu Chen the feeling of returning home. 351

• The core Golden Apple Tree initially appeared as a sapling rooted in the void; after its Blessed Land upgrade, it grew to roughly one hundred meters and bore thousands of Golden Apples. 351 548
