Background

Anrokuzan operates from an underground ruin beneath Rōran, seated on a structure made of countless flesh-colored tubes. After obtaining the Dragon Vein's power, he considers himself beyond fear of any enemy. 260

Rōran appears populated and prosperous, but Li Yao's observations reveal that fewer than five hundred people are still alive. Anrokuzan has apparently converted the city's inhabitants into humanoid puppets while experimenting with human-puppet transformation and turning himself into a puppet with a soul. 260
