The period that followed was the calmest the Federation had seen since announcing special operations against Shrek Academy and the Tang Sect.

It was only calm in a relative sense. Trouble still broke out from time to time across the Federation, and in many cities, civilians still took to the streets in daily demonstrations.

It was called relatively calm because Chen An and the others had not continued their forceful killing spree. In the past, Chen An and his group might kill tens of thousands within a day or two, causing an enormous uproar. Now that they had stopped, much of that commotion had naturally subsided.

It was not that Chen An and the others did not want to keep acting. Rather, there were no more targets left.
