An Bulang is the only child of the Immortal Emperor, the ruler of all immortals on the Primordial Continent. His name was chosen from his father's deduction: “Stay steady, don't go wild, and you can win.” Despite this upbringing, he feels that his privileged life gives him neither accomplishment nor purpose.
