Background

Vittorio is the eldest of the Wizard Council’s Speakers and has lived for more than two centuries. He had remained a Six-Ring Wizard for roughly two hundred years, prolonging his life through Magic Potions while seeking a path beyond the limits of the human body 453 473.

His inherited school is ancient, but much of its historical knowledge was lost after the Holy See’s conquest and persecution of Wizards. He nevertheless retained knowledge of several Space-Time Nodes hidden within Magic Stone Mines, as well as the dangers faced by earlier expeditions that entered them 453.

As one of the Council’s most knowledgeable authorities on magical history, Vittorio explained that the Holy See’s suppression of Wizards stemmed from competition for faith. He also warned that Psionics and faith-derived power could corrupt the soul, as Evil Gods harvest believers’ souls to amplify themselves 198.

Appearance

Before his true Legendary ascension, Vittorio was an aged man with a long beard and a body worn down by centuries of life and reliance on Magic Potions 398 473. His ascension replaced that decaying body with an Energy Body that can appear indistinguishable from ordinary flesh and blood 473 474.

Personality

Vittorio is methodical, academically curious, and deeply cautious when handling dangerous magical research. He personally inspected the alchemy runes for the nuclear-fusion ascension array and designed its composite structure to reduce the risk of localized errors 456.

He is also intensely driven by the pursuit of higher realms. Despite knowing the risks, he volunteered to become the first subject of Lynn’s Legendary advancement method after waiting centuries for a breakthrough 453. His successful ascension temporarily made him more confident and reckless; eager to test his new strength, he volunteered to confront the northern Evil God rebellion alone 477.

Vittorio has a competitive streak, particularly in research. He was frustrated that he could not decipher the Ring of Secret Magic’s communication method and later reflected bitterly on how far behind the Council was in elemental studies 381 384.

Greenriel City and August’s Fall

Vittorio joined Harov and Aurora in confronting August after the latter transformed into a half-human, half-demon vessel for a fallen Evil God. By reclaiming Vittorio’s Magic Core, he collapsed August’s Doomsday Domain and sealed the enemy within the Core 195.

Pursuit of True Legendary Status

After studying Joshua’s body and Lynn’s Mass-Energy Conversion theory, Vittorio became the first Wizard to test the Energy Body ascension ritual. He endured the destruction of his physical body, rebuilt himself piece by piece under fusion-reactor energy, and established the new definition of a true Seven-Ring Legendary Wizard 453 473 474.

Northern Rebellion and Defense of the City of Fire Oil

Soon after his ascension, Vittorio independently suppressed the northern Evil God uprising by secretly eliminating Gustav before he could deploy a Divine Kingdom Projection. He returned in time to reinforce the defense against Cynthia’s assault on the City of Fire Oil 485.

War Against the Holy See

Vittorio assisted in trapping Lucia, constructing the Gravity Domain and Lightning Stone Array, binding Executioners, and creating openings for Lynn’s decisive attacks 428 430 432. Vittorio became central to the Council’s Space-Time Gate research, Foreign Land operations, spacecraft development, and interstellar warfare.
