Do I Have No Pride?
Behind Harry and his friends, a bright green Magic Array flashed by, and a powerful storm rushed to the exit, blowing away all the Acromantula in the path.
"Now, run."
Aaron roared, and Harry, the other two, and Fang immediately ran towards the exit.
But halfway there, a wave of spiders fell from above, blocking their path.
"Spider Strike."
Harry and Hermione drew their Wand at the same time, and the white light repelled two spiders, but more spiders swarmed around them.
"What do we do?" Ron asked anxiously.
"What can we do?" Harry said seriously. "We have no choice but to fight to the death."
Hermione nodded silently. Although the spell was very powerful, their effective fighting force consisted of only two people, which was nothing compared to the hundreds or thousands of Acromantula.
"You promised to help us out!" Ron looked around nervously, trying to find Aaron in the spider's lair, but he couldn't see through Aaron's Disillusionment Charm at all.
"Calm down, just hold on a little longer."
"This magic is quite powerful; even I need a little time to activate it," Aaron said calmly, sounding very confident.
"Why do you seem so happy?" Hermione said, puzzled.
"It's an illusion, it must be an illusion."
Aaron immediately agreed, but he was actually very happy inside.
He had practiced elemental Magic Array for a long time, and he had a good understanding of the power of basic and intermediate Magic Array. However, he had not yet used his full strength to release an advanced Magic Array. He could only continue to improve his proficiency and shorten the inscription time.
Tian finally gave him this opportunity to test the power of these Acromantula.
A few minutes later, Harry and Hermione were panting heavily, and constantly using magic was a considerable burden for them at this moment.
Ron wasn't much better off, because his Wand was in serious trouble, so he could only use his lantern as a weapon to attack the Acromantula, doing pure physical labor.
But the situation did not improve at all. Instead of moving forward, they were forced to retreat by the dense swarm of spiders, getting further and further away from the exit.
"How much longer do we have to wait?" Harry asked weakly. Aaron was their only hope now, and although they didn't want to bother him, they really couldn't hold on any longer.
"I won't wait any longer." Aaron deactivated his invisibility, turned around, and looked at the three of them with a meaningful expression. "Perfect, you'll have a chance to broaden your horizons."
As soon as he finished speaking, a purple Magic Array about one meter in diameter appeared in front of Aaron.
Purple lightning flickered at the edge of the Magic Array, illuminating the dark cave. The next second, a powerful bolt of lightning shot forward, leaving behind only shrill screams, and plowed a charred path straight to the exit.
"Not bad, the power is about what I expected."
Harry, Harry, and their two companions stared in disbelief at at least dozens of Acromantula lying on the ground, smoking from being struck by lightning.
They've persevered so hard for so long, and their results probably aren't even half of what they achieved in that one moment.
"Never mind that, let's run!" Ron reminded Yu.
The group immediately snapped out of their daze and rushed toward the exit.
"Hurry and chase after them!" Aragog roared. "That kind of powerful magic isn't something a child can just conjure up. Don't give him time to prepare."
Hearing this, the spiders in the spider hole regained their confidence and chased after them with their eight legs, forming a dense black swarm behind them.
"Damn it!" Aaron cursed. "I shouldn't have come with you guys. Every time we come to the Forbidden Forest, it's never a good day. We're either running away or on our way to run away."
"I'm actually quite glad I called you over, otherwise we'd probably be done for here."
"You still have the nerve to talk? They're almost here." Ron said, glancing back. He was immediately terrified, his face turning pale. Two spider legs were less than a meter away from him.
"Aaron, can you use that spell again?" Hermione asked anxiously. "If you can, don't hide it. We can't outrun these spiders!"
"You make it sound so easy, but that's a high-level Magic Array!"
At my current skill level, I need at least three minutes of preparation time, but now I can barely manage three seconds, let alone three.
"What about intermediate and beginner levels?"
"Hehe!
That's not that troublesome, but its power is relatively weaker, and it can't stop so many spiders at all.
"And do you think we'll have time to cast spells? As things stand, if we stop, we'll be overwhelmed by the spider swarm."
"Then what should we do?"
"Run, run like your life is hanging by a thread," Aaron said without hesitation.
He wasn't worried at all; his physical abilities far surpassed those of ordinary people. If he wanted to, he could easily shake off the swarm of spiders. He was only concerned about the few burdens behind him, which forced him to slow down and keep pace with them.
Not long after they started running, Harry was suddenly tripped by a vine, and the spiders seized the opportunity to pounce on him.
"Spider Strike!"
Hermione swatted away an Acromantula and quickly helped Harry up, but in doing so, she put herself in danger.
Seeing this, Aaron and Ron had no choice but to stop.
"This is really bad," Aaron said with a wry smile. "Why did you have to trip over that part?"
Harry forced a smile, then said with a hint of tears in his eyes, "That's how it is in the Forbidden Forest at night; it's normal not to be able to see the road clearly."
"Instead of wasting time explaining, you should think about how to deal with the current situation!" Aaron took out his second Wand. "Let me make it clear beforehand, protect yourselves. If I'm in a killing frenzy, I might not be able to take care of you."
The three of them, along with Fang, couldn't help but feel Despair as they watched the spider horde surrounding them. There was still one exit ahead to prevent them from escaping, but there were more spiders in front of them. Now, they were surrounded by Acromantula all around them, and there was no end in sight. They were not ordinary spiders and were very difficult to deal with.
Abei, however, looked disdainful. It was only because its master hadn't given the order that it could grow to such a massive size, and a single breath of its Dragon Breath could definitely burn a large number of people to death.
Suddenly, a high-pitched but intermittent sound rang out, and two beams of light pierced through the spider swarm and landed on the group of people.
The Weasley family' car, dragging its battered and wrecked body, forcefully rammed its way through the road. The Acromantula had never seen a car before, but seeing their own kind in such a sorry state, they could judge its power and immediately chose to give way.
The car stopped in front of them, with all four doors open at the same time.
"Wow! I'm starting to like this car." Aaron shrugged and climbed into the driver's seat.
"Bring your Fang with you."
As Harry reminded them, he climbed into the front seat, while Ron picked up the trembling Fang and Hermione and climbed into the back seat.
After everyone boarded the bus, the doors closed automatically.
The magic car doesn't require Aaron to do anything; it can drive itself completely.
The engine roared to life, and the car crashed into even more spiders, hurtling through the dense forest before suddenly stopping at the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
After getting out of the car, Ron started vomiting uncontrollably. It took him a while to stand up weakly. "Follow the spider, follow the spider."
"I'll kill Hagrid as soon as he gets out of Azkaban."
"I dare say Hagrid thought Aragog wouldn't hurt his friends, and we thought so too." Hermione glanced guiltily at Aaron. "If only we had listened to you from the beginning, we wouldn't have found anything, and we almost lost our lives."
"That's just your problem, you guys always like to think the best of things," Aaron said speechlessly. "When I'm in a critical situation, I still have Abei to save me. With its current strength, it can fly with one or two people."
But what about you? You're lucky you even survived tonight.
Harry suddenly seemed to remember something, paused slightly, and looked up directly into Aaron's eyes. "Now that it's time for you to tell us the last clue!"
Aaron was taken aback, then scoffed, "Didn't I already tell you?"
"I said it might be the last location of the Chamber of Secrets," Harry explained. "We've checked the Common Room, so we can rule that out."
The Forbidden Forest is also impossible; the Basilisk is the natural enemy of the Acromantula, and Aragog and its offspring could not possibly be hiding near the mouth of their natural enemy.
As for the Black Lake, it's possible that the Slytherin House heir is from Slytherin House, since the Slytherin Common Room is located underwater, making it exceptionally convenient to summon the Basilisk.
However, we have confirmed that the Slytherin heir is Gryffindor, so the Chamber of Secrets cannot be in the Black Lake.
Aaron raised an eyebrow. "I have to admit, you're a little smarter than I thought."
However, I still have to apologize; I don't intend to tell you the final location.
"Why?" Hermione frowned, puzzled. "Hogwarts has already experienced several attacks. Even if you have some unspeakable secret, is it more important than the lives of the students?"
"This..." Aaron hesitated for a while, then frowned slightly and said, "Okay! Do you remember the water stains at the crime scene on Halloween Eve?"
Back then, nobody mopped the floor, so where did the water come from?
"The washroom," Hermione said immediately. "Only the washroom is possible, and the place where Mrs. Norris was murdered is close to the washroom."
That's right.
As far as I know, Moaning Myrtle was the student who was killed by the Basilisk fifty years ago; she died in the washroom.
"So, this is why you didn't want to tell us the reason?" Harry asked in surprise.
"Otherwise what!"
"I'm not afraid of anything else, but this is the girls' restroom! Didn't you two boys feel even the slightest bit embarrassed while doing this?"
Harry and Ron exchanged a glance, blushed, and lowered their heads.
No matter what you think in your heart, you absolutely cannot admit it to others; it's a matter of character.
"Seeing the two of you like this, I think you should understand my predicament."
The girls' restroom was one thing, but there was also a lustful female ghost inside. That place was a week more terrifying to me than a dragon's den or a tiger's lair. Anyone would be terrified in that situation!
"You could just tell us and we'll help you find it!" Hermione said.
"Heh! Heh heh!"
One second I was being ripped off so badly by you guys, and the next second I'm telling you the last clue that can defend my dignity and bottom line.
"Do you think I'm that despicable?" Aaron sneered. "Don't I care about saving face?"
