Thoughtform Exposed, Hippogriffs
After leaving the Divination Classroom, Harry remained silent, lost in thought.
Others might have doubts, but he had seen Professor Trelawney say 'ominous' the night he ran away from home.
He could have deceived himself into thinking it was just a coincidence, but now he has no choice but to worry.
Aaron's expression wasn't good either. He hadn't received a 'death notice,' but the Prophecy about him foretold the thing he disliked most—trouble.
Although this prophecy may come several years from now, it will eventually come, and he is certain that the accuracy of this Prophecy is 100%.
"Do you think that ominous sign is related to Sirius Black Black?" Ron asked.
"It must be related," Aaron said definitively. "Although I don't want to say it, Sirius Black Black is the only one who fits the bill."
"To be honest, I don't think Divination holds up to scrutiny," Hermione said unhappily. "Arithmancy is much more interesting."
"You say that because you think Arithmancy is more useful than ' Unfogging the Future '?" Aaron said with a hint of amusement.
Arithmancy uses numbers to interpret a person's fate and character, thereby making predictions.
Compared to simple numbers, tea leaf patterns are much more complex. Later, when learning Crystal Ball Divination, there are no patterns at all; it all depends on individual talent.
Hermione rolled her eyes. "Professor Victor's esoteric mathematics is based on a series of rules and rigorous mathematical operations; it is traceable."
Aaron shrugged. Divination and Arithmancy seemed to have conflicting learning methods, and Hermione clearly preferred the one that allowed her to utilize her talents.
"Wait, aren't Divination and Arithmancy supposed to be at the same time?" Ron looked at Hermione with a puzzled expression. "How come you have two classes at the same time?"
"Don't be silly, no one can take two classes at the same time." Hermione said without thinking, but her expression turned strange as soon as she finished speaking.
She managed to switch between several elective courses with ease using Time-Turner, but Aaron didn't use the tool. Yet, he also showed up in the Arithmancy classroom that morning.
Oh no! Is the Thought Form about to be exposed?
Aaron noticed Hermione's puzzled look and instantly realized what she was thinking.
"Ahem... Um, Gryffindor's next class is Transfiguration, so don't keep Professor McGonagall waiting."
"Wait a minute." Hermione immediately called out to Aaron, then looked at Harry and Ron, "You guys go first, I have something to talk to him about."
The two exchanged a glance and quickly left.
Hermione then asked meaningfully, "Shouldn't you explain this to me?"
"Explain what?"
"You know perfectly well what I'm asking." Hermione scoffed. "If you didn't use Time-Turner, how did two classrooms appear at the same time?"
"Perhaps I used it?" Aaron put on a smile, trying to hide the truth.
"Yeah?"
Hermione slowly approached, her large, watery eyes filled with a playful, serious, and slightly mocking gaze, like a ferocious fox staring at a weak, pitiful, and bewildered little white rabbit.
She pointed to the Time-Turner on her neck and said meaningfully, "I didn't see your watch."
"Perhaps..."
"Don't tell me you lost it." Hermione crossed her arms and interrupted. "That's a magical artifact related to time. If you lost it, you wouldn't be so calm."
A hint of helplessness flashed in Aaron's eyes. He shook his head with a wry smile. "I was careless!"
I truly didn't expect you to sign up for five elective courses like me, and I certainly didn't expect Professor McGonagall to apply for Time-Turner tool for you.
Hermione immediately beamed with delight, "Can you tell me? How did you manage to appear in both classrooms at the same time?"
"No, this is my secret."
And you can't tell anyone else.
"You know, I promise I won't tell anyone." Hermione beamed. "How many people know you have this secret?"
"There are several, but you are the only one who discovered it yourself." Aaron sighed helplessly. To be precise, she was the only one in this world who knew about it. Even Dumbledore and his family did not know that he had a Thought Form clone.
"Hearing you say that makes me feel quite accomplished," Hermione said with a smug smile. "It's okay if you don't tell me; there are plenty of answers in the book, and I'll figure it out myself."
Aaron:...
Well, it's not unacceptable that his Thought Form has been discovered, but his ability absolutely cannot be exposed.
After lunch, it was time for the Care of Magical Creatures.
Aaron led Abei outside the castle, where the two of them breathed in the fresh air after the rain.
The Gryffindor and Slytherin who had signed up for the elective course gathered one after another in front of Hagrid's Hut, each carrying a strange book in their hands—"The Moste Potente Potions."
"By the way, everyone come closer, and please don't talk." Hagrid, wearing a mole fur coat, looked at the more than twenty students surrounding him with a hint of excitement. "Today I'm going to give you a feast for the eyes, a wonderful lesson. Follow me."
Hagrid led his students to the edge of the Forbidden Forest, where a stone fence formed a small enclosure.
"Students, stand in a group and turn to page 49."
"But how do I open this book?" Draco asked lazily. His book was undoubtedly a collector's edition, but it was no different from the regular edition; it would still bite people once opened.
"Just smooth it out," Aaron casually patted Abei's back. "Like this."
"Very good, Gaius." Hagrid looked at Abei with some excitement. "Like Petting Dragon, no, like petting a cat."
He went up to Aaron, wanting to try it out too.
But as soon as he reached out his hand, Abei bared his fangs and let out a warning growl.
"Professor Hagrid, I personally think my cat doesn't like you very much," Aaron reminded Yu.
Hagrid withdrew his hand with some regret, then took Hermione's textbook and ran his thumb down the spine of the book.
The book trembled slightly, but when opened, it didn't bite anyone; it lay quietly in Hagrid's hand like an ordinary book.
Seeing this, the students also sorted out their own course materials before opening them with peace of mind.
Aside from Neville Longbottom, although a Summer Holiday had passed, his forgetfulness hadn't changed. He opened it without touching it and ended up in a particularly messy state because of "The Moste Potente Potions," with several holes bitten into his Warlock robes.
"These books are hilarious," Hermione said.
"Yeah! It's hilarious," Draco scoffed. "A clever design. This school is doomed if it keeps going like this."
"If my dad knew that Dumbledore had Hagrid teach him, that would be quite a show."
"Draco," Aaron sighed, "Hagrid knows enough about Fantastic Beasts to be a professor."
"He knows a lot about Fantastic Beasts, but that doesn't mean he can teach!" Draco said matter-of-factly. "Don't forget, this Giant has never had any teaching experience."
"Shut up, Malfoy," Harry couldn't help but say.
"Watch out, Potter, there's a Dementor behind you," Draco teased. "Potter, I know you and Rubeus Hagrid are good friends, but what I'm saying isn't wrong, is it?"
Harry opened his mouth, but was speechless.
No one wanted Hagrid's first lesson to be a success more than him, but in reality, even he was worried about what might happen during the lesson, since most people wouldn't dare keep those ferocious Fantastic Beasts as pets.
At that moment, a dozen or so animals appeared not far away. They had the bodies, hind legs, and tails of horses, and the heads, forelegs, and wings of eagles.
They all wore collars around their necks, Hagrid led them slowly into the enclosure on chains.
"Hippogriff," Aaron murmured in surprise.
"You know them?" Hermione asked, while Harry and Ron looked at him curiously.
"I've read just as many books as you have, but this is the first time I've ever seen such a Fantastic Beasts."
"No matter how amazing it is, it can't compare to your...cat," Draco said. Abei immediately raised his proud dragon head and gave Draco an approving look.
You have good taste; it's undoubtedly the top dog in the Fantastic Beasts circle at Hogwarts.
Previously, Dumbledore's Phoenix could barely stand on equal footing with it, but now that it has evolved once, it can absolutely crush that bird.
"Since you know that the Hippogriff, then..." Ron stammered, "Is it dangerous?"
"It depends." Aaron clicked his tongue. "The Hippogriff is the offspring of a male Griffin and a mare. It is extremely fierce before it is tamed, but it will not harm you after it is tamed."
"So that means..." Harry swallowed hard, "We have to tame it next?"
"Almost."
"Is it dangerous?" Hermione asked somewhat nervously, feeling a little apprehensive about such a large Fantastic Beasts.
"You should have faith in Hagrid," Aaron said casually. "He's not dangerous to me, he's even quite easy, but you... you'd better stick to the plan."
To put it bluntly, while the Hippogriff indeed strange, it's just an animal. If you're strong enough, you don't need to follow any rules; it will automatically submit.
"Is it powerful enough?" Draco stroked his chin, showing a hint of eagerness.
"Don't overthink it." Aaron patted him on the shoulder. "You'd better do as Hagrid says."
Hagrid led a gray-blue Hippogriff into the enclosure. Looking at its body, which was larger than a horse, the crowd was both curious and nervous.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Hagrid fed it a dead chicken, trying to get it excited. "Everyone, let's get to know Buckbeak, the Hippogriff."
First, you need to understand that they are very arrogant, have bad tempers, and are not to be trifled with. Never humiliate a hippogriff, or you might lose your life.
Now, who will say hello to it?
