Buckbeak, Bloodline Suppression Among Magical Creatures
Everyone took a step back in unison, and some even squatted behind the rocks, seemingly unwilling to greet Buckbeak.
After all, Hagrid said, "You could lose your life if you're not careful." They are just a group of students, and their current mental fortitude doesn't support them risking their lives.
Aaron also chose to follow the crowd. He was confident in taming Buckbeak, but didn't want to stand out.
"Well done, Harry, well done," Hagrid said with satisfaction. If no one had set an example for him in his first class, he really wouldn't know what to do.
Realizing what had happened, Harry Potter looked around and saw that everyone had stepped back, but he was still standing there dumbfounded. No wonder Hagrid had called him out.
Harry grieved inwardly, but still gritted his teeth and climbed over the enclosure fence.
"Now you have to respect it and make it polite, that's a matter of courtesy."
"Step forward, bow to it, and wait to see if it returns the bow." Hagrid patiently explained the key points of communicating with the Hippogriff. "You can only touch it if it returns the bow; otherwise, try again later."
Harry nervously bowed deeply, but Buckbeak didn't return the bow. Instead, Buckbeak spread its wings and let out an arrogant howl, which made Harry's heart leap into his throat.
"Back off, Harry, back off." Hagrid waved his arm, gesturing for him to gently step back.
But Harry had only taken a few steps back when he stepped on a branch, the cracking sound being particularly noticeable, making everyone present's heart skip a beat.
However, Buckbeak was not displeased by this. Instead, it slightly bent its scaly front knees and slowly bowed its head in a gesture of respect.
"Well done, Harry," Hagrid said with a slightly excited laugh, then took a dead chicken and tossed it to Buckbeak.
Harry straightened up with a sigh of relief, but before he could even catch his breath, he heard Hagrid continue, "You can go up and pat it now."
Go ahead, don't be shy, go gently and slowly.
Harry nervously approached Buckbeak and cautiously reached out to touch it. Buckbeak was quite cooperative, like a docile pet.
After witnessing Harry Potter's success, the other students cheered and applauded.
Draco's expression wasn't good, and his two henchmen, Crabbe and Goyle, also seemed somewhat disappointed.
"It doesn't look too difficult," Draco said unhappily.
"Then you go and give it a try!" Ron teased. "You weren't any slower than us when we were retreating just now!"
Draco glared at Ron but didn't say anything more.
"I think it'll let you ride it." Hagrid put Harry on Buckbeak's back without waiting for Harry consent. "Sit behind the wing joints, and don't pluck its feathers, it won't thank you."
Hagrid patted Buckbeak's hind legs, and it spread its twelve-foot wings and flew into the sky, while Harry, on its back, clung tightly to its neck, letting out a shriek.
"It looks quite interesting," Aaron laughed.
"You think this is interesting?" Hermione asked incredulously. "Harry must be terrified right now."
"Hmm... there's really no need to worry. Once the Hippogriff acknowledges you, it won't just throw the person off its back. It'll come back after a short walk. This is much more interesting than riding Flying Broomstick."
Soon, Buckbeak arrived carrying Harry in less than two minutes, though he looked pale and staggered as he got off.
"Beautiful, Harry!" Hagrid shouted. "Anyone else want to try?"
After the first person to try it, the other students cautiously entered the hunting grounds, bowing and paying their respects before the Hippogriff, but they still dared not fly on the Hippogriff.
"Why don't you give it a try?" Hermione asked, puzzled. She had just had a friendly encounter with a Hippogriff when she saw Aaron munching on an apple on the stone fence.
"I have it." Aaron lifted one of Abei's paws. "Do you really think a dragon is inferior to Hippogriff?"
Abei nodded solemnly. In front of this Holy Dragon, hippogriffs are all trash.
Hermione:...
These are different, aren't they?
"You should try it," Hermione advised. "After all, this is Hagrid's first lesson."
Upon hearing this, Aaron hesitated for a moment, then said, "Alright! Let's just consider it a necessary show of respect to the teacher."
As he spoke, he put Abei down and strode quickly toward a harpy-headed horse.
Without bowing or paying respects, he simply sat on its back, just as easily as he had on the previous tamed pony.
The harpy-headed horse-bodied beast offered no resistance and showed no displeasure whatsoever, simply because it faced a seemingly harmless yet capable creature that could tear it apart in an instant—a cute pet that was smiling at it.
If you dare to upset my master, I'll make you upset too.
"This..." Hagrid was completely dumbfounded. Weren't Hippogriff proud and arrogant? How could they be tamed so easily?
Could it be that Aaron knew it before? But that's impossible!
"Aaron, how did you do that?"
"Maybe it's because I've ridden a dragon before!" Aaron said meaningfully.
Hagrid turned to look at Abei and suddenly realized what was going on.
Even among Fantastic Beasts, there is a bloodline pressure. A dragon helps Aaron keep order, Hippogriff has to cooperate obediently.
At this moment, Draco walked up to Buckbeak, bowed, saluted, and touched its mouth.
"I told you it wasn't difficult," Draco said smugly. "Not dangerous at all."
"If Harry Potter could tame you, this ugly beast, there's no reason why I can't."
No sooner had he finished speaking than Buckbeak roared angrily, his sharp, eagle-like forepaws slashing across the chest.
Draco fell to the ground, letting out a painful cry; one of his arms was stained red with blood.
Hagrid immediately stood in front of Buckbeak and stopped it, preventing Malfoy from being attacked again.
"It's going to kill me," Draco said, his face contorted with grief. "I'll make it pay."
"Don't just stand there, get him to the School Hospital right away," Aaron said hurriedly.
Hagrid reacted quickly, picked Draco up, and rushed up the hillside towards the castle.
Seeing this, the others quickly followed. Without Hagrid, they dared not stay with this Hippogriff.
After leaving the castle, Hagrid left the others in the Entrance Hall and took Draco to the School Hospital.
Aaron hesitated for a moment, sighed softly, and followed behind them.
"What are you doing here?" Hagrid, somewhat weary. "This is the doctor's job."
"Do you think I wanted to come here?" Aaron rolled his eyes speechlessly. "Abei can help heal his wounds."
Hagrid glanced at Abei, who was dozing in Aaron's arms, and asked with some doubt, "It can heal?"
"Although it can't compare to the Phoenix Tears, the effect is not much different."
Draco struggled for a moment, then stopped whining, "Then hurry up and make it..."
"No," Aaron interrupted him. "Do you want Abei to expose his identity in front of everyone?"
Upon hearing this, Draco closed his eyes in anguish.
A few minutes later, Hagrid placed him on the white hospital bed. "Wait a moment, Madam Pomfrey will be here soon."
"Is it okay now?" Draco's eyes held a glimmer of hope.
Aaron nodded and placed Abei in front of Draco, "It's up to you now."
Abei glanced at his arm with some disdain, then began the treatment.
A white Magic Array appeared on Draco's arm, and the long, deep wound slowly healed under the white light, the flow of blood also began to slow down.
"That's amazing!" Hagrid exclaimed excitedly. "I've never heard of dragons having this kind of ability before."
"That's because you're ignorant." Aaron shrugged, then pulled Abei aside.
"Huh? No..." Draco blinked blankly, "It's not finished yet!"
"I can only guarantee that your arm will be fine. The rest is up to Madam Pomfrey!" Aaron said calmly. "You were injured and bleeding in front of everyone. What will the doctor think if she finds that you are perfectly fine?"
And no matter what Madam Pomfrey arranges, you have to feign illness for a few more days so no one will suspect anything.
Draco:...
"Then let Abei secretly treat Zong'er for me afterwards. I'll cover all its food expenses for this year."
Abei's eyes lit up, as if he had discovered a shortcut to stockpiling goods.
It looked at Aaron with anticipation, hoping to see its master nod in approval.
However, Aaron flatly refused, "No, this is a lesson for you."
Who gave you the audacity to provoke a Fantastic Beasts, especially since Hagrid specifically said that we shouldn't insult Hippogriff?
Draco, do you think it's impressive to question the teacher in class?
"I..." Draco was speechless. He had only wanted to prove that he was no worse than Harry Potter, but he had accidentally become too proud.
At this moment, Madam Pomfrey rushed over. After carefully examining Draco's injuries, her expression softened.
"Madam Pomfrey, is Malfoy alright?"
"It's still a minor ailment, but not too serious."
I gave him some medicine and bandaged him up. He'll recover after resting for a while, but he can't move his hand too much before the injury heals.
"Thank God."
"You should be glad!" Draco said indignantly. "I can ignore you and me, but that bird will definitely pay the price."
Hagrid's heart skipped a beat, and he said weakly, "Buckbeak is innocent."
"Innocent? My arm is like this," Draco said angrily. "I'm definitely telling my dad."
"There's no need to tell your dad about this!" Aaron frowned slightly. If Lucius Malfoy found out about this, he would definitely use it as an excuse to make a fuss.
"It's not up to me to decide. If I get hurt, my dad will definitely find out."
Although he was no longer on the Board of Governors, nothing about Hogwarts could be hidden from him.
Aaron:...
There's nothing I can do to help.
Upon hearing this, Hagrid's face also showed a bitter expression. He sat by the hospital bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, worried about Buckbeak's fate.
