Aaron and the others uncovered Peter Pettigrew’s betrayal and tried to bring him to justice, but Peter escaped and Sirius was captured. Dumbledore revealed that Hermione could use her Time-Turner to save more than one innocent life, and Aaron joined her and Harry in an attempt to rescue Sirius.

• Aaron helped Harry navigate the year’s dangers, built Divine Thunder Hall, and learned from Trelawney’s predictions that Sirius would return and innocent blood might be shed.
• After Buckbeak’s apparent execution, Aaron followed Harry, Ron, and Hermione to the Whomping Willow, where they found Sirius in the Shrieking Shack.
• Lupin revealed that Peter Pettigrew had betrayed Harry’s parents and had spent twelve years disguised as Ron’s rat, Scabbers, while Snape arrived and transformed Scabbers into Pettigrew.
• Aaron tortured Pettigrew until he confessed, but Harry insisted that Sirius and Lupin take him alive so he could testify.
• As the full moon transformed Lupin, Pettigrew escaped, Sirius was captured by the Ministry, and Lupin vanished after becoming a werewolf.
• Aaron showed Dumbledore Pettigrew’s signature and thumb, but Dumbledore said Sirius could not be freed while Pettigrew remained missing.
• Dumbledore prompted Hermione to reveal her Time-Turner, and Aaron accepted a task to help Hermione and Harry rescue Sirius.

Aaron helped Harry and Hermione save Sirius, then returned home and prepared for the next school year as Voldemort’s followers attacked the Quidditch World Cup. At Hogwarts, Dumbledore announced the Triwizard Tournament, and Moody began teaching the Unforgivable Curses.

• Hermione took Harry and Aaron back in time to save Buckbeak, and Aaron drove off the Dementors with the silver raven Patronus that had saved Harry and Sirius.
• Aaron returned to the present, where Snape gave him his spell and potion notebook, and Aaron used the Nika Mask’s power to summon Shadow Ninjas.
• Aaron learned that Clea’s family supported their engagement, but he told Lyon and Adrian that he saw Clea as a younger sister and was not ready to marry her.
• Aaron, Adrian, Lyon, and Jeans attended the Quidditch World Cup, where Ireland defeated Bulgaria and Dark Wizards set the campsite ablaze beneath a giant Dark Mark.
• Aaron reunited Harry with Ron and Hermione after the attack and warned them that the Dark Mark signaled Voldemort’s return.
• Aaron bound Argus’s newly forged Flintlock Pistol to himself, then returned to Hogwarts, where Dumbledore announced the Triwizard Tournament and Barty Crouch lowered its age limit to fourteen.

Aaron entered the Triwizard Tournament as a fourth Champion, alongside Harry, whose selection he suspected had been forced. During the first task, Aaron protected the other Champions while facing multiple dragons, then learned the Golden Egg’s clue pointed to an underwater task and chose Hermione as his Yule Ball partner.

• Moody demonstrated the three Unforgivable Curses, and Aaron resisted the Imperius Curse before discussing House Elves with Hermione and declining to join SPEW.
• Aaron tested his Flintlock Pistol, then entered the Triwizard Tournament after the system offered him 2,000 Magic Points and Adrian ordered him to compete and win while finishing last in every event.
• Aaron and Harry were selected as Champions alongside Viktor Krum, Fleur Delacour, and Cedric Diggory, and Adrian warned that the Goblet’s binding contract could not be broken.
• Aaron learned that the first task involved dragons, and he and the other Champions discovered they would have to retrieve Golden Eggs while facing five dragons in the arena.

• Aaron rescued Fleur, Hermione, and Luna during the Second Task, and the judges awarded him 49 points for his performance.
• Snape revealed his Dark Mark to Aaron and warned that Voldemort might be returning.
• Aaron joined Harry, Ron, and Hermione to meet Sirius, who connected Barty Crouch’s disappearance, Bertha Jenkins’s absence, and Winky’s dismissal to a possible plot involving Voldemort.
