Background and History
As an Academy student, Mizuki resented the popular class leader Soseki and kept his distance from their classmates. After third-year students severely injured him, damage to his meridians threatened his chance of becoming a ninja. Soseki sought Tsunade’s help and argued on Mizuki’s behalf, changing how Mizuki viewed him 16 29.
Mizuki spent the following year practicing basic taijutsu despite being unable to circulate chakra normally. He later became Orochimaru’s disciple and joined the special operations team led by Soseki during the Third Shinobi World War 57 72 147.
His loyalty to Soseki became central to his role. He conveyed Soseki’s support to the Hyūga clan during Cloud Village’s ultimatum, accompanied Kakashi on a mission against Kirigakure, and accepted an alliance with Mei Terumi’s rebels after confirming that Soseki had authorized it 369 381 386. Years later, he traveled with Soseki to a parallel world, where his strength startled people who knew that world’s Mizuki as a disgraced chunin 507 510 511.

He considers himself an ordinary ninja rather than a genius and is willing to risk dangerous transplants to become stronger.
