Gigue lowered his head in thought, wondering if going to Mary Geoise now would be too risky.

Logically, as a direct descendant of the Figarland Family and their eldest son, Mary Geoise was a place he could go to whenever he pleased.

But who could have predicted he'd have a beast like Gurando for a father?

Over the years, Gurando must have known about his son's existence, yet he'd stayed within the family with no apparent moves. Gigue guessed this was due to Garling's intervention.

After all, Garling was the current Family Head, and with him around, Gurando's influence would have a hard time extending into Mary Geoise.

However, if Gigue were to be in Mary Geoise, the danger level would skyrocket.

Not to mention Gurando's influence within the Figarland Family, his personal strength alone was something the current Gigue couldn't contend with.

If it weren't for Gurando's existence, why would Gigue have come to the Marines to train? The Figarland Family's resources were far superior to anything the Marines could offer.

Thinking this, Gigue felt a surge of frustration. A tide-like darkness began to spread from his feet. Spandine, standing before him, felt a sudden tightening beneath his feet, and then his body slowly began to sink into the darkness.

The dark gravity made it impossible for Spandine to even lift his leg. He was filled with terror but dared not cry out. Trembling, he stammered, "L-Lord Saint Gigue, spare me!"

Spandine's voice, filled with fear, pulled Gigue back from his thoughts. By now, the darkness had almost reached Spandine's waist.

With a thought, the darkness instantly receded back into Gigue's body. Spandine fell to his knees with a thud, gasping for air.

Recalling the scene, Spandine was horrified.

"Is this Lord Saint Gigue's ability? It's terrifying!"

Even after Gigue reached out and pulled up the trembling Spandine, his face still showed a look of lingering shock.

He steadied himself and asked, "Lord Saint Gigue, about going to Mary Geoise..."

"Since Uncle Garling wants to see me, I'll go back. You may leave. Wait for me at the port tomorrow morning."

"Yes!"

Spandine bowed respectfully at a ninety-degree angle and slowly retreated until he disappeared into the shadows.

After he left, Gigue stood in silence for a moment. He slowly raised his right hand, which was enveloped in dark energy, and said in a deep voice, "What's coming will come eventually. I'm not someone he can easily manipulate anymore..."

With that, a dark vortex appeared behind Gigue. His body gradually distorted and finally disappeared completely along with the dark vortex.

In a dark corner in front of the dormitory building, The dark vortex reappeared, depositing Gigue. He first looked around, confirming his location was near the dormitory building, and nodded slightly. "The location for this close-range teleportation was quite precise. I hope long-distance teleportation will be as stable..."

The next morning, Gigue briefly told those close to him that he would be leaving for a while. He didn't specify what he was doing, only that he would return soon.

Ginny nodded obediently and said softly, "Brother Gigue, I'll wait for you."

Gigue patted Ginny's head through the iron bars, then leaped into the air, using Geppo to head towards the port.

Ginny watched Gigue's figure disappear from sight below, a worried expression on her face.

When Gigue had said he was going out that morning, she had noticed Kizaru's peculiar expression. So, taking advantage of Gigue's absence, she pulled Kizaru aside. Under her persistent questioning, Kizaru finally confessed, "I don't know the specifics. I only know that Gigue was likely summoned by the World Government."

Hearing this news, Ginny was stunned. She knew a little about Gigue's background and was well aware of the high risk of his trip.

But knowing it and facing the colossal World Government left Ginny feeling a deep sense of powerlessness.

Ginny wanted to go with Gigue, but she knew she was still too weak. If anything unexpected happened, she would only be a burden to Gigue.

The only thing she could do now was to act as if she knew nothing, at least not to add to Gigue's worries.

As she stared blankly at the sky, a muffled voice sounded, "Sister Ginny, you don't need to worry. If there's no news from Big Brother Gigue for a long time, I'll go to Mary Geoise directly."

Ginny was startled and turned to see Kuma standing not far from her, silently watching her.

"Little Kuma, you..."

"I heard what Borsalino said too."

Kuma raised his hand, looking at the paw pads on his palm, and said in a low voice, "This ability was given to me by Big Brother Gigue. Now is the time for it to be used."

Gigue met Spandine at the port and immediately boarded the ship prepared by the World Government, sailing towards Mary Geoise.

Marineford and Mary Geoise were very close. In less than half a morning, Gigue, standing on the deck, could already see the Red Line. At the very peak of the Red Line was his destination, the Holy Land Mary Geoise.

After a while, Spandine, bowing, walked up to Gigue and said respectfully, "Saint Gigue, we have arrived at the Red Line. Please disembark with me."

Gigue nodded. Spandine immediately called over a group of men in suits, who escorted Gigue off the ship and to a lift at the base of the Red Line.

The lift carried Gigue and the others through the clouds, stopping at the highest point.

A troop of guards clad in golden armor had been waiting there for a long time. As soon as the lift doors opened, they saw Gigue, who was being escorted in the center, and immediately knelt on one knee in unison, shouting, "Welcome, Saint Gigue!"

Spandine was stunned by the scene. It wasn't his first time visiting Mary Geoise, but he had never witnessed such a reception before.

Especially these guards in golden armor before him; just looking at them, he knew they were on a completely different level from the men in suits behind him.

He didn't doubt for a second that any one of those guards could easily kill everyone he had brought with him.

Swallowing hard, Spandine felt that he had truly seen something extraordinary today. If it weren't for Gigue, he probably wouldn't have seen these golden guards in his entire life!
