Gigue and Lily chatted back and forth about the ninjas' peculiar running posture, completely ignoring the Third Hokage and the other ninjas charging at them aggressively.

By now, Danzo's face had gone from blue to white from being choked. If this continued, he would soon have to use another resurrection coin because of suffocation.

He had tried to break free during that time, but the instant Gigue grabbed him by the throat, he felt the chakra in his body rapidly draining away, leaving him unable to mount any effective resistance.

When he saw the Third Hokage finally arrive with reinforcements, a flicker of joy appeared in Danzo's eyes. He was just about to struggle out a word.
