Arc 73Moving the Land of Whirlpools

Torikaze oversaw Konoha’s growth, handled a factory scandal, and visited Ran in the Land of Whirlpools. He agreed to move the islands to the mainland, leaving Konoha’s Six Paths Level fighters preparing for the operation.

  • Torikaze encouraged Hiruzen to keep working, while Hiruzen lamented Asuma’s rebellion and Torikaze and Kushina discussed raising Naruto more strictly.
  • Naruto, Neji, Hinata, and Xin explored Konoha, met Rock Lee, and visited Sasuke at the Uchiha Compound.
  • Minato rescued an orphaned boy in the Royal Capital, arranged food and lodging for him, and planned to bring him to Konoha and teach him if he came along.
  • Konoha’s railway and New City projects advanced as Kato Hisashi fired fifty factory workers for organized idling, and Minato arranged compensation and their departure from the village.
  • Torikaze visited Hashirama and Nawaki’s family, gave Tomoko a protective jade pendant, and later toured Uzushiogakure and other villages.
  • Ran told Torikaze that the Land of Whirlpools’ island location hindered its development, so Torikaze offered to move it to the mainland for five hundred million.

Arc 74The Island Comes Ashore

Torikaze and the Six Paths Level experts relocated the Land of Whirlpools to a new home beside the Land of Fire, where Ran took charge of its future. The arc ended with Tsunade and Dan welcoming their son En and making room for family life.

  • Torikaze and the leaders planned the Land of Whirlpools’ relocation, tested the method in the Trial Tower, and prepared the island and its people for the move.
  • Torikaze hosted visiting leaders in Konoha as word spread that six Six Paths Level ninja would move the island, and Mifune questioned who could succeed him as leader of the samurai.
  • Torikaze teleported the residents to shore, coated the island in Crystal, and raised it as Minato cut it free from the seabed.
  • Hashirama lifted the island with True Several Thousand Hands while Tobirama opened a path through the sea and Torikaze eased the burden with the Super-Lightened Boulder Technique.
  • Hashirama set the island beside the Land of Fire, and Torikaze joined it to the mainland and gave Ran additional territory to develop.
  • Torikaze traded rejuvenating fruits for techniques from Ōnoki, Liusha, and Mifune, while Karatachi Yagura kept his fruit as a collectible.
  • Tsunade gave birth to a son, and Dan and Tsunade named him Kato En before the family celebrated.
  • Torikaze urged Dan and Tsunade to prioritize their family and postpartum recovery, gave them Chakra Herbs for En, and returned to the Windcloud Clan with Chisato.
