After the Five Kage Summit, Torikaze helped shape Konoha’s ninja system and prepared for Tobirama’s succession as Hokage. The arc ended with Torikaze creating Crystal Mirrors across Konoha so the crowd could watch the ceremony.

• Torikaze defeated Tsukishiro in their spar, then helped see the departing Kage home and earned 20,000 Tranquility Points for completing the summit mission.
• Torikaze urged Hyuga Shishin to challenge the Caged Bird Seal and offered to help him change the clan’s rules.
• Torikaze used Mu’s blood to give one Primal Puppet Dust Release and practiced with another that possessed the Byakugan.
• Over the next two years, Torikaze secretly reached Kage-level strength as Hashirama resigned and Tobirama prepared to become Hokage.
• Torikaze proposed ranks and promotion exams for Konoha’s ninja system, then spent time with Mamiko, Dan, and the Kato family.

Torikaze helped Kakuzu escape Takigakure, seize Earth Grudge Fear, and form Lotus before returning to Konoha and taking a mission with Chisato to the Land of Lightning. Their search for Tobirama’s informant led them to Oyakashiro Homura and the exiled Chinoike Clan in Hell Valley, where Torikaze controlled the toxic mist as they traveled toward the settlement.

• Hashirama stepped down as Hokage and handed the hat to Tobirama, who took office and began working with Kagami.
• Torikaze helped Kakuzu escape execution, steal the Earth Grudge Fear scroll, kill the Elders, and leave Takigakure with him as they founded Lotus.
• Torikaze proposed Elite Jonin and Special Jonin ranks to Tobirama, who promoted Torikaze and sent him and Chisato to find an informant in the Land of Lightning.
• Torikaze and Chisato traveled to the Royal Capital, gathered intelligence, and met Tobirama’s informant near Kumogakure, who gave them a letter for Tobirama.
• Torikaze recognized Oyakashiro Homura as the boy who had stolen Chisato’s wallet and killed Kumogakure ninja who had taken the medicinal herb Homura needed.
• Homura led Torikaze and Chisato to Hell Valley, where he explained the Chinoike Clan’s history and showed them the remains of those who had fought the Uchiha.
• Torikaze linked the group with Crystal Vines and controlled Hell Valley’s toxic mist with Cloud Release as they headed toward the Chinoike settlement.

Torikaze cleared Hell Valley, helped the Ouyashiro Clan settle in Konoha, and then secured the Tsuchigumo Clan’s admission after defeating its leader, Arashi. The arc ended with Tobirama ordering Torikaze to arrest Kumogakure’s spies.

• Torikaze cleared the Red Mist from Hell Valley, saved Oyakashiro Homura, and persuaded Oyakashiro Tsukiyomi to bring the Ouyashiro Clan to Konoha.
• Torikaze and Chisato reported the mission to Hashirama and Tobirama, who accepted the Ouyashiro Clan and sent Hashirama with them to clear the valley’s entrance.
• Hashirama and Torikaze led the Ouyashiro Clan to Konoha, where Tobirama welcomed them and assigned them land near the Windcloud Clan.
• Torikaze visited a lake to study Senjutsu, where Tsuchigumo Arashi attacked him before explaining that his clan sought Konoha’s protection from Kirigakure.
• Torikaze reported the Tsuchigumo Clan’s request to Tobirama, who agreed to accept them with rules restricting their Forbidden Technique.
• Torikaze escorted Arashi and the Tsuchigumo Clan to Konoha, where Tobirama assigned them grounds beside the Senju Clan Grounds.
• Tobirama discussed selecting younger candidates to receive Tailed Beasts, then ordered Torikaze to arrest Kumogakure’s spies.

Torikaze brought Amado into his home and watched him develop his crafting skills while Konoha prepared a covert response to Kumogakure’s planned invasion. When the war began, Hashirama and Tobirama devastated Kumogakure’s main forces as Torikaze attacked the rearguard on his own.

• Torikaze captured seven Kumogakure spies, and Tobirama revealed his plan to feed Kumogakure false intelligence before using Impure World Reincarnation in the coming war.
• Torikaze brought Amado to Konoha, gained Tobirama’s permission to raise him, and welcomed him as his younger brother at the Cloud Clan Grounds.
• Amado’s experiments caused an explosion at home, but Torikaze praised his gunpowder and helped him continue learning to craft.
• As Kumogakure prepared to attack, Torikaze learned that Tobirama had gathered 110 Impure World Reincarnation puppets, while Hashirama agreed to strike the enemy forces.
• When Kumogakure crossed into the Land of Fire, Tobirama’s puppets and Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags destroyed the vanguard.
• Hashirama and Tobirama attacked Kumogakure’s main force, and Hashirama used Top Transformed Buddha to pulverize the Second Raikage and his troops.
• Torikaze rode Seiryu to Kumogakure’s rearguard and used Crystal Release—Crimson Lotus Technique to kill more than half its ninja.
