Torikaze helped Konoha defeat Kumogakure, then assassinated the Third Raikage and ended the war. Years later, he returned to village life, encouraged Tsunade’s interest in Dan, and gave Hashirama and Mito fruits that restored their youth.

• Torikaze destroyed Kumogakure’s invading forces, defeated Kinkaku and Ginkaku, and returned to Konoha with Hashirama and Tobirama.
• Konoha publicized Torikaze’s wartime achievements, making him a celebrated hero while he focused on Amado’s alarm clock and encouraged his friends and students.
• After the Third Raikage blamed Konoha for the war and refused reparations, Tobirama sent Torikaze to carry out a decapitation strike.

Torikaze adopted Minato, took Shin'er as a disciple, and helped Kushina reach Konoha while preparing to become the Third Hokage. The arc ended with Tobirama assigning him to choose a side in the Land of Whirlpools succession struggle.

• Torikaze chose Shin'er as his apprentice after learning she could command moths and butterflies despite her allergy to Kikaichū.
• Torikaze recognized Kakuzu's orphaned boy as Minato Namikaze, brought him to Konoha, adopted him, and promised to train him to become Hokage.
• Torikaze gave Shin'er's moth a Summoning Seed, transforming it into the speaking moth Lan Ling, and began training Minato in Chakra.
• Tobirama named Torikaze his successor, and Torikaze agreed to become the Third Hokage.
• Torikaze found Kushina under attack outside Konoha, killed the attackers, and brought her to Mito, who welcomed her into her home.

Torikaze led Konoha’s mission to the Land of Whirlpools to investigate the princes, find Ashina, and uncover the forces behind the clan’s conflict. He and Chisato suspected Rain was controlling the First Prince, and the arc ended as the princes gathered and the Third Prince questioned Rain’s strange behavior.

• Torikaze accepted Tobirama’s mission to the Land of Whirlpools and told Chisato about the coup and Ashina’s disappearance.
• Torikaze and his companions traveled by boat toward the island, fought fifty Kirigakure Rogue Ninja, and reached Uzushiogakure to investigate the princes.
• Torikaze questioned the First Prince, who said Ashina had escaped after binding him and the Second Prince, then promised to help search for Ashina.
• Torikaze learned that the Second Prince had secretly requested Konoha’s aid and joined Chisato in investigating the princes and the First Prince’s allies.
• Torikaze noticed the First Prince’s strange headaches and vacant spells, while Rain repeatedly appeared to influence what the prince remembered.
• Torikaze concluded that Rain might be controlling the First Prince, and Chisato proposed exposing him at the upcoming Whirlpool Gathering.
• Torikaze shared the plan with Hiruzen and the others, and they agreed to try it at the gathering.
• The princes assembled at the Daimyo Estate, where the First Prince mourned their family’s divisions and the Third Prince asked why Rain seemed strange.

Torikaze defeated Rain and helped free the Land of Whirlpools, but Uchiha Setsuna escaped after a second battle. Back in Konoha, Torikaze prepared to become Third Hokage, while Minato formed a Crane contract and Torikaze discovered new System rewards.

• Rain exposed his control over the princes and Konoha delegation, but Uzumaki Ashina rescued Torikaze from the gathering and helped him prepare to fight Rain.
• Torikaze and Uzumaki Ashina lured Rain to the coast, where Torikaze battled him with ice, crystals, clouds, and his summoned Cranes.
• Rain controlled Chisato and the Konoha shinobi, and Torikaze collapsed after poisoning Rain with Crystal Judgment.
• Chisato awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan, rescued Torikaze, and helped free the others, but a masked guard revealed a Mangekyō Sharingan and attacked them.
• Torikaze awoke and fought beside Chisato, exposing the guard as Uchiha Setsuna, who escaped after binding their Susanoo with invisible chains.
• The Third Prince became daimyo, and Uzumaki Ashina returned to Konoha with Torikaze’s group, where Tobirama honored them for the mission.
• Torikaze returned home, discussed his coming inauguration as Third Hokage, and told Hashirama and Tobirama that Uchiha Setsuna had returned.
