Appraisal
"Roy, you've made friends with the Silver Moon Elf?" Ms. Belinda turned her gaze back to Roy and asked.
She never expected that Roy would actually make friends with Silver Moon Elf at the Elf Academy...
Roy had never been able to fit into the lives of the elves. He had been lonely since childhood, and the Silver Moon Elf of the same age around him looked down on him, which made Roy taciturn. If it weren't for the worry that Roy would be depressed, Ms. Belinda would never have moved to a place like Brown Street.
"I do have a few Silver Moon Elf friends at the Elf Academy ..." Roy replied casually.
Ms. Belinda blinked.
When Roy lived in the Upper District, he didn't make any Silver Moon Elf friends. But unexpectedly, living in the Lower District and attending the Elf Academy, he made Silver Moon Elf friends...
She had originally planned to take Roy with her to Buenos, but now she was having second thoughts.
For a Half-Elf, integrating into life in the Elven World is no easy feat.
Roy now has his own circle of friends.
And contrary to Ms. Belinda's expectations, his friends would be a group of Half-Elf.
In fact, apart from Sabrina and Moira, Ms. Belinda did not see Roy befriending any other Half-Elf.
"Roy..."
After leaving the treehouse at Master Claire Latin's house, Ms. Belinda stopped and called out to Roy.
"Do you want to stay in Castleton City and continue your studies at the Elf Academy?"
Roy said, "If I could, I would like to stay here."
He certainly wanted to stay in Castleton City, where he had so many friends, the Black Pearl, and an easy job that paid four hundred Kole a week.
As if making a momentous decision, Ms. Belinda stood at the treehouse doorway, a loving smile on her face. She cradled Roy's face in her hands, her eyes filled with anticipation for the future, and said with a smile, "Alright, we'll stay. However, I might have to travel to Buenos frequently, taking my sculptures with me, to try and find artists who appreciate my work. Ideally, they could help me exhibit these pieces. If elves can appreciate my art and I achieve financial freedom, I can live a carefree life from now on..."
A gentle glow of happiness radiated from Ms. Belinda's young and beautiful face...
Roy was still a little disappointed that he didn't see the stolen Holy Grail at Master Claire Latin's house.
Somewhat listlessly, Jasper returned to the Goddess of Freedom Temple. Seeing Roy push open a small door next to the main iron gate, he poked his head out of the small hut by the entrance and called out loudly, "Roy, why are you only arriving now...?"
Roy stopped and said to Jasper, "I went to visit Master Claire Latin with my mother."
"I heard that Master Klayr is very ill, is that true?" Jasper asked Roy in a low voice.
Roy nodded and said, "The master's health is indeed not very good. When I saw him, he was unconscious."
"Are we going to the Black Pearl tonight?" Jasper asked.
Roy thought for a moment before saying, "I have something to do tonight, so I won't go!"
"Good..."
Jasper agreed.
In the evening, Roy walked into Mrs. Winnie's Potion Shop at the Cross Street Intersection and saw Mrs. Winnie at the Potion Shop, checking the day's accounts.
The Potion Shop at this street corner does a pretty good job. Its main customers are mostly crew members from foreign ships in Castleton Harbour, who always buy magic potions from Mrs. Winnie's Potion Shop.
The local elves would also buy some Detoxification Potion from Mrs. Winnie's Potion Shop, mainly to prevent being stung by poisonous fish in the sea. Basically, all the fishing boats that went out to sea carried Detoxification Potion, and they weren't too expensive.
Hearing footsteps at the door, Mrs. Winnie looked up and saw Roy walking in. She pursed her lips and teased, "Roy, you rarely come here! What's up today? Planning to take my cat for a walk on the beach and then telling me?"
Roy winked at Mrs. Winnie, who was also a Half-Elf, but with one-eighth Wood Elf blood. So apart from being a bit taller, she basically had the characteristics of Silver Moon Elf.
Perhaps due to the pharmacist's somewhat sedentary lifestyle, Mrs. Winnie was a little heavier than most Silver Moon Elf.
So it can look a bit stressful...
"Mrs. Winnie, could you help me check what side effects this potion might have?" Roy walked to the counter, took out the Permanent Agility Potion from his handbag, placed it on the counter, and said to her.
Although Mrs. Winnie is somewhat harsh, her abilities as a magical potion master are beyond question.
Mrs. Winnie held the medicine in her hand, pulled out the crystal bottle stopper, smelled it briefly under her nose, and then quickly put the cap back on.
"Wow, Permanent Agility Potion, Roy, do you know what you're holding?" She leaned over the counter, leaned in front of Roy, and whispered in his ear.
"What's wrong, Mrs. Winnie?" Roy asked in surprise.
"If this bottle really contains Permanent Agility Potion, I suggest you sell it to me. It's worth at least fifty Magic Crystal Stone. Of course, if you don't want to sell it, you'd better find a place to store it, but that will cost a storage fee. Don't always carry such valuable things with you, because thieves love these kinds of valuable items. Another way is that if you need it, drink it as soon as possible!" Mrs. Winnie said to Roy in a rapid-fire manner.
Roy said directly, "So I'm asking you to verify its authenticity and see if any other pharmaceutical ingredients have been added. If it's safe, I'd like to drink it..."
Roy's physique was no different from that of the elves, and there was no significant difference in strength, but his agility was vastly different.
This directly resulted in Roy often achieving very little success when learning Elven Martial Arts...
So Roy really wanted to drink it to improve his health.
Mrs. Winnie looked at the bottle of medicine in her hand again, then gave Roy a serious look before saying with great pride:
"You've really come to the right person for this, but let me make this clear beforehand: I won't give you a discount on the appraisal fee just because my cat is related to you..."
Roy was a little helpless. There was nothing he could do; whenever he had something to ask Mrs. Winnie, she would always bring up that little cat.
"Um, could I know how much the appraisal fee is Kole?" Roy asked curiously.
"One hundred Kole," Mrs. Winnie said quickly, holding up one finger.
"Okay, Mrs. Winnie, then please help me identify them!" Roy said, placing a stack of seashells on the counter.
Mrs. Winnie immediately brought over a set of laboratory equipment from behind her, consisting of countless beakers, test tubes, crucibles, filters, and alcohol furnaces. These laboratory equipment were assembled together and looked like a single unit.
Mrs. Winnie deftly lit the alcohol lamp, her fingers moving with incredible agility as she drew a drop of medicine from the bottle.
She dripped the Permanent Agility Potion onto a piece of asbestos paper, then held it over the flame of an alcohol lamp to heat it intensely. A wisp of blue smoke drifted out and was instantly collected into a bottle by the smoke collector. The smoke then flowed down the bottle into a tube.
The smoke passed through tubes and finally flowed out of the experimental apparatus, only to be inhaled by Mrs. Winnie.
"There's nothing... harmful to the body in this. It's an excellent quality agility potion, extremely high quality!"
Mrs. Winnie praised.
Then he put the stack of Kole bags on the counter into the drawer.
"You should drink this kind of permanent potion as soon as you want it!" Mrs. Winnie said, then took a piece of paper from the back shelf, wrapped the bottle of agility potion neatly for Roy, and handed it to Roy.
Roy quickly put the precious bottle of Permanent Agility Potion into his satchel.
Roy then left the Potion Shop and walked along Brown Street toward his home.
Tonight, Ms. Belinda is going to a dance party her friends have prepared to celebrate her regained freedom...
Roy returned home and had just pushed open the gate when Moira emerged from behind the wall and whispered to Roy, "Roy, why were you gone for so long this time?"
"The college is holding an outdoor practical course, which requires us to live outdoors for another month," Roy said, stopping in his tracks.
"Oh, right, Moira, wait a minute..."
Roy went into the house immediately after speaking, leaving Moira completely confused.
Not long after, Roy came out of the room.
Holding a pendant pierced with a Petrification Lizard tooth, he handed it to Moira, who was waiting behind the low wall, and whispered to her:
"I didn't encounter anything interesting on my trip to the Malaga Jungle. This is a Petrification Lizard's tooth. It's said that lizard teeth contain potent venom and are incredibly sharp. Now... I'm stringing it on a rope and giving it to you. I hope you like it!"
Moira looked at the sharp tooth, which was at least an inch long, and hesitated before taking it in her hand.
"Thank you, Roy!"
Moira was delighted to receive a gift.
"Be careful, don't let it scratch you..."
Before Roy went inside, he reminded Moira.
Seeing Roy about to go inside, Moira quickly asked, "Roy, are you training again tonight?"
Roy stood in the doorway and said to Moira, who was somewhat eager to try:
"How about we start tomorrow night? I'll rest today; I've been a bit overexerted lately..."
"Oh, see you tomorrow night then." Moira obediently agreed, picked up the pendant, and happily turned to leave...
