Plant Factory
"Where did you get this Light Flower?"
After buying the potted plant, Roy asked the stall owner for more information.
The stall owner rolled his eyes, looked at Roy, and said reluctantly:
"I bought it from another hunter. This kind of magic herb is quite rare around Bulwark Village. It was perfectly healthy when I bought it, but things haven't been going well lately. Thirty Kole hasn't even recouped his costs yet, oh well!"
After saying this, he refused to talk to Roy anymore, seemingly having sold the Light Flower at a loss.
I thought he was an elf hunter who made a living by gathering, but it turns out he was just a middleman. No wonder he didn't sell these magical herbs to caravans; he probably couldn't make much money from them.
Seeing that the stall owner was unwilling to talk, Roy turned and left.
Magician Scarlett looked at the square hardwood flowerpot in Roy's arms and said to Roy, "I haven't heard of any Potion Master who needs this kind of magical herb. This magical herb is only of some use when it is alive. It can be used for lighting at night, but don't expect the light it emits to be very bright, after all, there is only one plant."
Miss Christine stood by, but didn't say anything.
She was simply curious about Roy haggling with the stall owner; she couldn't believe he could buy things like that, cutting the price in half right off the bat...
Her clear, azure eyes darted around the stall, intending to try Roy's method, but even when she saw some Golden Thorn Grass, she hesitated slightly and ultimately didn't have the heart to speak.
The three of them wandered around the small market again, but finding there was nothing left to buy, they returned to the hotel.
As we passed the caravan's stalls, sure enough, many elf hunters were gathered there. Some were trading with the caravan, while others were watching quietly, probably trying to find out the purchase prices.
There was no way to put the living plant into the Magic Pouch, so Roy could only hold it in his arms and carry it all the way to the hotel room.
When Instructor Nora saw that Roy had bought a pot of magic grass from the small market, she came over to take a look. Seeing the withered leaves of the Light Flower, she said with some doubt, "Um, this flower is about to die?"
Instructor Eleanor, clearly more knowledgeable in botanical potions, leaned closer, glanced at the Light Flower, and said:
"This is a very rare Light Flower. It can no longer be found on the Elf Continent. However, this magical herb is not very valuable. It cannot be used to make potions. Its only use is to emit light at night, but the light it emits is not much brighter than that of a firefly. It cannot be used for lighting and can only be used as decoration. Roy, the situation is not good for you to buy this Light Flower. It is obviously about to die."
"I just find it very strange..." Roy said.
After saying that, he placed the pot of Light Flower on the windowsill of the room, intending to let it get more sun and see if it would get better.
Hearing Magician Scarlett and Instructor Eleanor praise the Light Flower, Roy felt a little regretful. This magical plant had no medicinal value, and if it died, all thirty of his Kole's would be wasted.
The reason he wanted to buy the Flower Light Flower Light Flower was because when he saw it, the Holy Light Particle gathered around the pot were noticeably denser than in other areas, which made the seedling of light within his body appear very active...
However, after he bought the Light Flower, he didn't find anything special about Light Flower along the way, and not many Holy Light Particle gathered towards Light Flower, which made Roy a little disappointed.
"Look what you bought, oh? A potted plant? It doesn't look too good! If it can survive, it would be nice to bring it home and put it on the balcony..."
Sabrina stood on the terrace outside Roy's room, looking at the Light Flower on the windowsill and said with a smile.
Roy walked to the windowsill. The Light Flower had indeed withered. He held the Light Flower in his hands and poured a Holy Light Power into the flowerpot, but the Light Flower did not improve at all.
At night, I could hear the cries of griffins on the distant cliffs.
I heard that the Half-Elf who arrived at Bulwark Village with the caravan have all been accepted by the Bulwark Village.
We also need to build some treehouses in the village. Building treehouses is easy, but decorating them requires more thought.
The light in the treehouse opposite, which belonged to Instructor Nora, didn't go out until very late. Instructor Nora had spent the whole day discussing with Guide Majeri how to climb over the Griffon Bulwark.
Roy sat by the windowsill, quietly observing the Light Flower. This Light Flower could still emit a faint light, but the light was too weak, and there was only a trace of light on the seed spike, like the fluorescence on a watch face.
Roy brought his hand close to the seed spike of the Light Flower. He had thought that this magical plant had the ability to gather Holy Light Particle, but it didn't seem to. The Holy Light Particle around it did not change their floating trajectory because of the Light Flower.
Just as Roy was about to remove his hand, Roy suddenly noticed that a wisp of Divine Light had squeezed out from a seed, and then hung quietly beside the ear of seeds...
Roy stared wide-eyed at the scene in disbelief. He now realized that this Light Flower did not condense Holy Light Particle, but it was like a small Holy Light Particle manufacturing plant, constantly releasing Holy Light Particle outward.
Seemingly sensing the Holy Light Particle, the sapling of Holy Light Particle within Roy's body decisively swept it away...
Roy felt as if he had discovered something extraordinary, and even his heart was racing.
It turns out that this Light Flower actually emits Holy Light Particle. Roy thought that if he could grow more Light Flower, it wouldn't matter if he couldn't obtain the Holy Light Power through prayer...
The Priest of the Goddess of Freedom Temple are now facing an awkward situation: the Holy Radiance of the Goddess of Freedom cannot reach the Elf Continent. Those Priest who usually rely on praying to the Goddess of Freedom to obtain the Holy Light Power and a path to advancement have suddenly lost their support and source of power. They can only stay in place, and they dare not even use divine spells casually, because the natural recovery speed of the Holy Light Power in their bodies is really slow...
Moreover, without the Goddess's blessing, the Priest can forget about advancing in rank.
The Priest at the Goddess of Freedom Temple are like dodder.
When they embarked on the path of Priest, they neglected the path of acquiring the Holy Light Power through their own abilities, because they believed that as long as they prayed to the Goddess of Freedom, they could receive the blessing of Holy Radiance. This kind of cramming method of acquiring the Holy Light Power was simple and effortless.
Now that the Holy Radiance no longer shines on the Elf Continent, the Priest of the Goddess of Freedom Temple have grown accustomed to being bathed in its radiance.
They had long forgotten how to obtain the Holy Light Power through their own abilities, and believed that it was normal that the Goddess's Holy Radiance could not reach the Elf Continent and that everyone could not obtain the Holy Light Power, since everyone was like that. The Priest thought this was normal.
On the contrary, Roy dared not reveal that he could absorb the Divine Light around his body, because he was an anomaly among the many Novice Priest.
Such a rapid advancement is something many Novice Priest couldn't achieve even when the Holy Radiance of the Goddess of Freedom shone upon the Elf Continent...
When Roy sensed the holy light, it just so happened that the Holy Radiance of the Goddess of Freedom could not shine on the Elf Continent.
Of course, he couldn't become a dodder.
Recently, Roy has clearly felt that absorbing the Divine Light around his body is no longer sufficient to meet the needs of the Holy Light Sapling.
Roy has recently been trying to figure out where he can find those lost vengeful spirits. He discovered that when dealing with those spirits, he can quickly absorb the Holy Light Power, which is actually a way to improve himself.
However, these vengeful spirits are either in cemeteries, in some abandoned castles, or near some shipwreck.
This is really troublesome! He dares not go to those places himself, and he can't invite High Priest Reed to go with him. Originally, he had Jasper and Abbott with him, but now Jasper is dead and Abbott has turned against him. There really is no one to accompany him to purify the dead.
Roy joined Instructor Nora's adventure group with the intention of embarking on a real interdimensional journey and experiencing the life of an adventure group, primarily for learning purposes, since he was a complete novice who knew nothing.
He never expected to find such a treasure in the small market of Bulwark Village; he found a Light Flower.
This Light Flower, which the elves considered useless except for decorating rooms, became, in Roy's eyes, Plant Factory capable of producing Divine Light...
Unfortunately, you couldn't find a second one at the small market in the Bulwark Village...
"Instructor Nora, do you know how to find out information about rare magical herbs?"
At dawn, Roy opened the window, leaned out, and asked Instructor Nora who was practicing Elf Body Arts on the terrace of the treehouse across the way.
Instructor Nora retracted her kicking leg and asked Roy:
What do you want to do?
Roy chuckled and pointed to the wilted Light Flower on the windowsill, saying, "I'd like to ask where I can find another Light Flower. The one I bought yesterday is almost dead."
Instructor Nora breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that he wasn't looking to buy expensive Magic Herbs; buying a few inexpensive Light Flower was fine.
"It's very simple. You're a member of the Adventurers Guild Adventurers Guild, so you can go there and inquire about the Light Flower," Instructor Nora said.
This kind of general information is usually released to members for free, unlike precious potions like Sun Grass, Blind Grass, and Sage, for which you have to pay to know about them.
Roy hadn't expected that there would be Adventure Guild headquarters in Bulwark Village, and couldn't help but ask:
"Bulwark Village also has Adventurers Guild headquarters?"
Instructor Nora nodded and said, "Of course, not every village has one, but there are often Adventure Group around Bulwark Village, so the Adventurers Guild set up a headquarters here. It's over there..."
She pointed towards the small market in Bulwark Village, indicating that the Adventurers Guild headquarters was over there.
