Merchant Moses finally led a group of Imperial Merchants into the cabins of a Three-Masted Sailboat.
Their work had also changed to odd jobs at the shipyard, including but not limited to scraping barnacles off hulls, scrubbing decks, airing out and mending sails, and so on.
Recently, Roy had seized twenty-three damaged Three-Masted Sailboats, all of which required thorough repairs.
The shipyard on Kui Island was obviously extremely busy, with endless work every day. Still, compared to chiseling stones in the reef zone, the work here was clearly much easier.
However, the Imperial Merchants had visibly split into two factions. Those who had first revealed the Slave Trade Route to Roy huddled together for warmth, while the other Imperial Merchants gathered around Merchant Moses to form another group. Although there had been no friction or conflict between them, it was obvious they did not get along.
The Imperial Merchants who had first pledged allegiance to Roy were clearly treated better. They lived in cabins on the second floor of the Ship Building.
Merchant Moses's group could only stay in the cabins on the floor below. Not only did those Imperial Merchants live there, but five hundred Empire Crew members were also housed in the lower-level cabins. Roy had arranged for those crewmen to work at the shipyard as well...
In truth, even if Merchant Moses had not personally come to Roy and revealed more information about the Slave Trade Route, Roy had planned to send them to work at the shipyard anyway.
