The sun had only just set when Luan finished dinner in the Great Hall.

It was Monday, and the Daffodil Club had its evening gathering. This was an activity Luan attended without fail every week.

Though he had only joined the club three weeks ago, Luan had already learned a great deal, especially about magical plants. His knowledge had expanded tremendously.

Watching Luan and Cedric leave the dining table together once more, Harry, who had finally gotten a day to rest, looked at Ron.

"Does Luan go to the gatherings every Monday?"

"That's right. Although my dad says Professor Sprout's Herbology Club is very influential in the wizarding world, I'm not jealous of Luan at all."

As he said this, Ron shot a sidelong glance at Hermione, who was sitting opposite him.

Whenever Luan went to a club activity, the young witch would watch him longingly.

"Why not? Weren't you happy that Luan got into the club before?"

Harry looked at Ron in confusion. It had only been two weeks, yet Ron had already changed his tune.

"I was happy at first, but after Mum's letter arrived, I never brought it up again."

Ron had long since written to his family about Luan joining the Herbology Club.

At first, he had only wanted to show off that he had such an impressive friend, but Mrs. Weasley's reply had left him feeling as though he had lifted a rock only to drop it on his own foot.

My dear son, I think you should learn from your good friend...

"Mum actually told me to learn from Luan. That would kill me."

Luan got up before dawn every day to study magic, make wands, practise spells, and finish his homework ahead of time.

Recently, he had even added the Daffodil Club
