Background / History

Hashirama was the eldest son of Senju Butsuma. At fourteen, intelligence on him described proficiency in taijutsu and shuriken techniques, alongside a suspected innate aptitude for the Strength of a Hundred. 3

During the Warring States Period, Hashirama formed a close bond with Uchiha Madara despite the Senju–Uchiha conflict. Madara ultimately severed that bond, leaving Hashirama shocked and hurt, but Hashirama continued to hold onto their shared dream. 76 He later succeeded Butsuma as Senju Clan Leader and used the Wood Human Technique to defeat and capture Madara. 138

Hashirama has long black hair, thick eyebrows, and large expressive eyes. Though associated with red battlefield armor, he also appears in formal civilian clothing: a yellow-brown haori over a dark-green inner layer and light-gray riding hakama. 151
