Would you ever regard an ant as an enemy?
Now that they had confirmed the other party truly was a god, there was only one question left to ask.
"Stuffing all the truths in the world into one person's mind... that really is the work of a god." Mobius mocked herself. "To obtain the truths of the world, one would have to discard the limits of the human brain, unless..."
"Don't even think about it, Senior Mobius. This is just a movie. There's no god in the world who can stuff every truth into your head." Yaqing pushed Mobius's pretty face away.
"Yaqing, why are you so unloving?"
"Senior Mobius, love is for young girls."
Mobius exploded with rage at those words.
"You're saying I'm not a young girl?!!"
"Oh my, Yaqing, how could you say that? What about Mobius~?" Elysia covered her mouth and laughed.
"Shut up, Elysia. Don't think I don't know that you were the one who led little Griseo astray." Veins bulged on Mobius's forehead.
"Elysia doesn't know anything~?" Elysia's gaze abruptly became clear and foolish.
"I want to do that too." Kiana said enviously, "If I could just stuff all knowledge straight into my head, this young lady wouldn't have to study so painfully."
"Stop dreaming, Kiana." Bronya directly shattered Brainless Idiot's dream. "The human brain's limits are insufficient to support all knowledge. The result would be your brain exploding like a balloon."
"Bro~nya, can't I even fantasize?!" Kiana put her hands on her slender waist and snapped.
"All the truths in the world..." Theresa emerged from the kitchen with freshly squeezed bitter melon juice and said happily, "Is there a way to make everyone in the world like drinking bitter melon juice?"
Everyone looked at Theresa in terror.
Humanity did not deserve this.
Even Collapse was not this terrifying.
"God, I have only one question left. I want to know how to truly bring the dead back to life."
"She is the most important person in my life. Her name is Kallen. Kallen Kaslana..."
Otto clasped his hands together, displaying incomparable devotion, but this time, the god did not answer him.
Only memories of the past surfaced in Otto's mind.
The people he had hurt...
The sins he had committed...
The lies he had told...
Would Otto regret those memories? Would he feel guilty? Perhaps, but not now. Right now, he only wanted to know the answer.
"Please tell me the answer, Lord God. To save her, I will spare no cost."
Seeing Otto's reaction, the god smiled. The cross in its hand transformed into a sharp blade and viciously pierced its own chest. As the blade sank in, Otto's body gradually began to collapse as well.
What was the meaning behind the god's final action?
Was it meant to punish Otto for his sins?
Or was it some kind of revelation?
Or perhaps even the god had no answer to that question?
Back in reality, Otto let out a pained howl. Countless streams of information flooded into his mind like a tidal wave, causing his brain to rapidly dissipate under the strain of containing such a massive amount of data.
The only image that remained in the end was the instant the god pierced itself with the blade.
He would not understand the meaning of that image until ten years later.
Within the illusion created by Fu Hua using the Feather of the Wind, Sirin gripped the hilt of Ruoshui embedded in her chest with both hands.
"Oh no, she's about to wake up!"
"What did the god mean? Was it telling Otto to kill himself, exchanging one life for another?" Since Mei was asleep, Kevin deliberately lowered his voice as he asked in confusion.
"Otto killing himself would be easy. The question is how one life could be exchanged for another," Su said.
"Could it be that Otto has to become a Herrscher too?" Mobius inadvertently blurted out.
Yaqing looked as if he had seen a ghost.
They were all guessing his future plot twists already. How was he supposed to earn their attention... money now?!
For this segment, Otto had cooperated with heartfelt dedication. Even when Yaqing and Shub thought a take was good enough, Otto would insist on recording it another hundred times.
Kallen blushed.
Watching this scene, Otto thought that his hard work had finally not gone to waste.
Tai Xu Sword God, One Sword Severing a God
With the god's help, Sirin broke free from the illusion of the Feather of the Wind. When she opened her eyes, a powerful shockwave erupted from her as its center, forcing even Fu Hua to be blown away by the impact.
The god had told her everything. The thing that affected her thoughts and restricted her power... Sirin viciously crushed one of the Feather of the Wind's feathers. Herrscher cores floated beside her as she used the Core of Reason to create several massive boulders, then imbued them with the authority of the Flame Herrscher.
"Let me show you the true power of a Herrscher!"
Facing Sirin with her Herrscher powers fully unleashed, Fu Hua understood that if she let her leave, even the entirety of Schicksal would likely be no match for her.
With that thought, Fu Hua closed her eyes. To stop Sirin, she could only burn the Feather of the Wind.
"All that came before..."
The Cangxuan and Danzhu sisters, dressed in ancient yet extremely revealing clothes, and a golden-robed young woman holding the Xuanyuan Sword.
"Shall be entrusted to this sword..."
Four indistinct phantoms appeared. A red-haired woman with a high ponytail and a bearded blond middle-aged man stood back-to-back, while Cheng Lixue stood in the middle and suddenly looked back.
When Fu Hua opened her eyes, she was already floating in midair. Behind her burned flames shaped like a divine bird, while in her hand was a longsword shining with dazzling golden light.
"Feather of the Wind: First Rated Output!"
The flaming divine bird let out a piercing cry toward the heavens, beat its wings, and soared into the sky.
"What is that?" Sirin looked at the scene before her, utterly bewildered.
"Tai Xu Sword God!"
The divine bird that had soared into the sky transformed into an enormous blade and descended with an unextinguishable pressure. The special effects in this part were incredibly powerful; Yaqing and Walter Yang had supervised them together.
"B-bluffing! An attack from mere ants..." Sirin shouted arrogantly, yet she had silently used the Void Herrscher's authority to prepare to tear open space and flee through teleportation.
"What is called divine is the utmost of transformation, speaking wondrously through all things, beyond the reach of form. This is the fifth stage of Taixu Sword Qi—the Divine Stage." Fu Hua, suspended in the air, saw Sirin's desire to flee and instead calmly began to explain.
"It has neither form nor need of form. This sword fills space; this sword is space itself. Thus, it is everywhere and unstoppable. Herrscher, this sword—"
The enormous blade split the towering Tower of Babylon cleanly in half from top to bottom.
"Cannot be blocked."
"Those were Cangxuan and Danzhu?" Mobius still remembered those two troublesome laboratory assistants quite clearly.
"Why did those two appear as well?" Mobius could not understand it. Yaqing had clearly never met the sisters, yet he could connect them to the unrelated Fu Hua.
"Every time I see Hua fight, I can't help being amazed," Kitty sighed.
"Old relic, you were actually this cool?!" Little Knowledge was unconvinced. She had clearly been the first to ask Yaqing for a role, so why did Fu Hua appear first?
"These special effects are insane!" Kiana was left speechless by the spectacle. As expected of Schicksal. Only Schicksal could afford to throw money at technology like this.
Bronya knew Anti-Entropy possessed this kind of special-effects technology too, but its live-action hero shows had never used it, for one reason: no money. Just a few short minutes of Tai Xu Sword God would cost nearly a million dollars to produce.
Bronya could not help sighing. Anti-Entropy worked to make a living, while this Schicksal "crown prince" was here purely to enjoy life. He did not care about the budget at all; he only wanted to film his own script.
The Tower of Babylon, split in half by Tai Xu Sword God, collapsed with a deafening crash. Facing that enormous flaming blade, Sirin could only exert all her strength and barely attempt to block it with an Imaginary Barrier.
"As long as God is with me, I will never lose to you!"
"Mere ants, don't even think of opposing God!"
Sirin hid within the barrier, revealing a maniacal smile.
When Tai Xu Sword God violently collided with the Imaginary Barrier, the blade pierced directly into Sirin's consciousness space. The "god" seated on a stone chair, which had taken Sirin's form, shattered into fragments.
"Tai Xu Sword God, formless and boundless."
Fu Hua clutched her left arm as blood seeped from the corner of her mouth. She could not understand it. That sword could pierce any tangible barrier and strike directly into the depths of consciousness—imperceptible, incomprehensible, and therefore impossible to resist. From within to without, it should have returned everything completely to nothingness.
"I definitely hit it with that sword."
The longsword in Fu Hua's hand shattered in response.
Why had the Herrscher not disappeared?
Something enormous deep within the Second Herrscher's consciousness had taken Tai Xu Sword God's blow for her.
"Could that be the god the Second Herrscher spoke of? The source of all Herrschers, Collapse Consciousness itself..."
After using Feather of the Wind: Zeroth Rated Output, Fu Hua had not a shred of strength left in her body and fell weakly backward.
"Second Herrscher..."
"Is it that my luck has run out, or that your life was not meant to end?"
Fu Hua murmured to herself, and as she fell, a familiar brown-haired man caught her.
"No, you did very well."
"Walter Yang?" Otto smiled. "As expected, as a partner, he wouldn't get written out so quickly. That would be no fun."
Kallen rolled her eyes at him. She even suspected that it was precisely because of Otto's love of spectacle that Welt Joyce had left Schicksal, founded his own organization, and established Anti-Entropy.
"Collapse Consciousness is the god, yet Hua actually shattered it with one slash? The power scaling's broken!" Kitty turned to Yaqing.
"It can't be that easy." Before Yaqing could answer, Mobius answered for him. "That should only be a part of Collapse Consciousness within Sirin's consciousness space. Otherwise, if Fu Hua alone slew a god, how could the later plot continue?"
"Hua isn't about to get written out, is she?" Kitty asked worriedly.
"Probably not. After all, she's a warrior who survived from the Previous Era," Kevin said uncertainly.
"Leave this place quickly. The power you used has already reached its limit."
Walter Yang appeared again. It turned out he had not completely died on the moon. His and Einstein's plan was still underway. His consciousness had been suppressed by Collapse Consciousness all this time, until Fu Hua severed the connection between Collapse Consciousness and Sirin's mind.
In the real world, Fu Hua, who had awoken from the illusion, was already seriously injured. The burning memories of the Feather of the Wind had caused her to forget the name of the man before her, yet she still felt that he was someone very important to her.
"You have to live..."
Those were the last words Fu Hua spoke before losing consciousness.
"No, Master." Cheng Lixue caught Fu Hua and held her in her arms. Because of Fu Hua's words, she felt that the demon in her heart had been broken.
"This time, I'll be the one to protect you."
Cheng Lixue picked up Fu Hua. At that moment, Fu Hua looked so fragile. After briefly asking about Otto's condition, she handed Fu Hua over to him and had Otto take her away.
