Background

Mobius graduated from Chiyu Academy, earned four doctoral degrees during her university years, and developed major expertise in biology and chemistry. After graduating, she and Vill-V founded World Serpent Technology Company with Yaqing's financial backing; Mobius later became its director. 5 40

Her laboratory is located on World Serpent's third basement level. Its regular staff includes Klein, Danzhu, and Cangxuan, whom Mobius drives hard despite their voluntary participation in experiments. She provides unusually high pay and benefits—nearly three times Kevin's salary—and personally forced Klein to take leave after noticing her exhaustion. 32 33

Personality

Mobius is sharp-tongued, proud, and intensely research-driven. She dismisses Kevin's abilities, would rather experiment than join Elysia on a shopping trip, and habitually responds to questions with analysis or counterarguments. 5 22 31

Mobius and Yaqing's relationship develops from a date at a grilled-meat restaurant into a secret romance that the Golden Courtyard gradually discovers. Elysian Realm Arc

Mobius makes her major in-universe animated debut during Mei's Elysian Realm investigation. She initially behaves like a playful yet ominous guide, offering the Infinity stigma and warning Mei against Elysia. 473

Her identity becomes central to the arc when Mei suspects that she is not a memory construct. Mobius admits that she is real, then reveals an ambition to escape the Elysian Realm through consciousness transfer into a Herrscher body. 476 479
