When the portrait hole opened, Neville was just about to come out.

Clearly, Neville seemed to have arrived at Hogwarts before them.

"Oh, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny!" Neville said excitedly when he saw them. "Quick! Come in! Our dormitory got something new over Christmas. I think it's called—"

"Every dormitory has been given a television!" Neville said eagerly. "Every bedroom and Common Room has a television now!"

"Television?" Even Hermione cried out in surprise. "Hogwarts has television now?"

"Yes," Neville said. "I heard Tierra and Mr. Xenophilius Lovegood, the editor-in-chief of The Quibbler—Luna's father—jointly established the British Magical Federation Television Station during Christmas, CMTV for short."

"What shows do they have?" Hermione asked with interest.

"Not many," Neville said. "Besides The Quibbler's usual introductions and explanations about strange creatures and phenomena, there's only History Unveiled, presented by Tierra; Voldemort—How an Antisocial Personality Is Formed, also presented by Tierra; Voldemort's Youth—The Unknown Past of a Psychopathic Killer, also presented by Tierra; and The Truth of History—Those Ten Dark Years, also presented by Tierra."

"Well... that was quite educational," Harry said with complicated feelings.

"But Tierra also brought in lots of Muggle television channels," Neville added. "Things like Bugs Bunny, Sylvester and Tweety, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, and Daffy Duck."
