Time quickly advanced to the first Dark Arts class after Christmas.

In the new term, Hogwarts scheduled Tierra's Dark Arts class for Friday afternoons, so even students who had gone wild over Christmas and forgotten to do Tierra's Dark Arts assignment still had time to rush and make it up before the class officially began.

As always, Dark Arts was held in the abandoned Girls' Bathroom on the third floor, which Tierra had renovated and expanded into the Dark Magic Classroom at the beginning of the term.

As always, the place was packed with students attending class. But unlike their previous anticipation and excitement, the students in this Dark Arts class seemed more or less restless.

Clearly, just as Tierra had expected, quite a few students had gone wild over Christmas. It was only after they returned from Christmas and were informed of this term's schedule that they suddenly remembered they still had a Dark Arts paper to submit.

Especially since the assignment required them to analyze Voldemort's psychological journey, had to be entirely original, and, most importantly—

They had no idea what the standard for passing even was—

"The paper doesn't need to be long, but it must be profound, heartfelt, and deeply analytical."

What did profound mean? What did heartfelt mean? What did deeply analytical mean?

The young wizards who had attended school in the Muggle World were doing relatively well. At least they had learned basic grammar and logical thinking, so they more or less had some ideas about the topic, "An Analysis of a Cold-Blooded Dark Lord's Psychological Journey."

But the children from wizarding families who had never learned even elementary-school grammar or logical thinking, and had only been enrolled for a year or two, were in trouble. They could only repeatedly pile up words like
