On the night before Harry, Ron, and Hermione went to Hagrid's Hut to comfort Hagrid, one Tierra stepped into the pitch-black Forbidden Forest.

The Acromantula Aragog had hatched in a cupboard at Hogwarts. A traveler from afar had given him to Rubeus Hagrid, who had still been a student at the time. But not long after Aragog hatched, he was driven into the Forbidden Forest because of the Chamber of Secrets incident created by the young Tom Riddle.

And because he had no natural predators, Aragog had bred and multiplied over the following fifty-odd years, producing an enormous number of offspring that fed on the creatures of the Forbidden Forest.

Of course, Aragog's instinct was to feed on humans, but for Hagrid's sake, he had never hunted humans at Hogwarts.

—It sounded like quite a touching story, but in Tierra's eyes, it was simply a case of invasive species.

Aragog was originally a foreign species, and his only natural predator in Hogwarts territory, Slytherin's Basilisk, had been locked away.

It would have been fine if there had only been one spider like Aragog, but the trouble was that Hagrid had even found him a wife—

To be honest, Tierra had long wanted to deal with this lot of Acromantulas, but first, there had been no need, and second, he could not be bothered.

But since Hagrid had now come begging him, Tierra might as well deal with them while he was at it—
