Tierra stepped onto the damp grass beneath the cover of night and slowly entered the gloomy, dark Forbidden Forest, where murky miasma drifted through the air.
As Tierra's figure gradually vanished into the lush thickets of the Forbidden Forest, two lonely spiders, startled by his footsteps, hurriedly fled from beneath the dead branches and leaves where they had been hiding, scurrying into the dark shadows of the trees.

Then the trees around him grew even denser, until even the scant glimmers of light overhead disappeared. Everything around him was pitch-black, and he could not see his own hand before his face.
At this depth, almost no one besides Hagrid had ever ventured this far. Tree roots and stumps were everywhere, blocking the path ahead.
If any other wizard had come this far, even with spells such as "Lumos" to help them, they would have tripped over the protruding roots and fallen flat on their faces several times.
