"Take a look around?" Hagrid froze for a moment, then visibly grew excited. If it had not been so inappropriate at the moment, Hagrid would have clapped his hands outright—

"Mr. Tierra helped us tap into the groundwater here," Aragog continued. "He said that if we encountered drought or a season without rain, we could use our silk to draw water from here and irrigate our grass."

"Irrigate grass?" Hagrid asked in confusion. "Why would you need to irrigate grass?"

"Um, Mr. Tierra said..." Aragog seemed to be struggling to recall Tierra's words. "He said... he said for us to grow a kind of grass, then give that grass to... um, to some four-legged creatures. Yes, cows, and
