Background / History

Yu Xiaogang originated from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, but his mutated Martial Soul and limited personal advancement caused the clan to regard him as a disgrace. He eventually separated himself from the clan. 85 86 103

He later formed the Golden Iron Triangle with Flender and Liu Erlong. His past with Erlong included love and a tragedy that separated them; he eventually confided this history to Tang San. 103

Master first encountered Tang San during the latter's academy enrollment, intervening when a gatekeeper challenged Tang San's certificate. He immediately recognized the certificate as authentic and later deduced that Tang San possessed Twin Martial Souls. 19 20

After Tang San's return from the Star Dou Great Forest, Master came to Shrek Academy to inspect the eight spider legs Tang San had obtained. He correctly identified them as an External Soul Bone and subsequently assumed full responsibility for the Shrek students' instruction. 65 66
