• Ling Xiao severed his ties with Tongtian and the Sect of Interception, restored his foundation with the Primordial Chaos Green Lotus Source, and accepted Zhen Yuanzi and Hong Yun’s invitation to Five Villages Temple.
• Ling Xiao rejected Qiong Xiao’s appeals to return, accepted the Heavenly Court’s appointment as Great Emperor of the Azure Radiance, and received authority over the Investiture of the Gods.
• Ling Xiao cultivated among the stars, found Wangshu imprisoned in a Chaos Void on the Lunar Star, and cleansed the forces harming her before bringing her to Penglai Immortal Island.
• Ling Xiao refused Yun Xiao and Qiong Xiao’s attempts to reconcile, defended Wangshu, and sent the sisters away from Penglai Island.
• The Sect of Enlightenment and Sect of Interception clashed on Kunlun Mountain, and Tongtian renounced his ties with the other Two Pure Ones and led his sect away.

Ling Xiao strengthened the Heavenly Court, secured the Dragon Clan’s allegiance, and confronted the Demon Court and Sect of Interception while enforcing Heavenly Dao punishment. He entered the Netherworld to help Pingxin purge its burden of emotions, proposing a link between the Netherworld and the Primordial Earth Veins.

• Ling Xiao received the Kongtong Seal from the Human Dao and gave it to Wangshu after the Human Clan severed its ties with the Sect of Interception.
• Ling Xiao debated the Two Sages of the West, traded for the Merit Golden Lotus, and joined Western Sect disciples in defeating demons at Lion Camel Ridge.
• After Yan Chi attacked Ling Xiao, Wangshu wrecked Phoenix Perch Mountain, and Ling Xiao killed Immortal Qiushou and Immortal Lingya.

As the tribulation began to take shape, the Three-Headed Flood Dragon secretly sought help after Sect of Interception disciples pressured him to flood the Yellow River.

• Ling Xiao cleansed Pingxin’s Seven Emotions and Six Desires Qi, then helped Zhen Yuanzi connect the Netherworld to the Primordial Earth Veins and awaken the Earthly Dao.
• Hongjun protected Zhen Yuanzi from the Heavenly Dao, after which Zhen Yuanzi and Pingxin attained Sagehood and Ling Xiao helped temper the Red Dust Sword Embryo into a Primordial Treasure.
• Hongjun decreed that Ling Xiao and Wangshu would hold a Heavenly Wedding, while Yun Xiao grieved over her lost bond with Ling Xiao and Jieyin and Zhunti helped Hong Yun settle his karmic debt with Old Ancestor Styx.

Yang Jian uncovered the plot against his family and took revenge on the Demon Court, while Ling Xiao drew the Tushan Fox Clan and other demon races toward the Heavenly Court. As the Demon Court provoked a bloody conflict with humanity, Tai Xuan intervened, and Ling Zhuzi began his trials in the mortal world.

• Yang Jian learned that Ji Meng and Wuyun Xian had conspired against Yaoji, defeated Wuyun Xian, and devastated Phoenix Perch Mountain before declaring his debts settled.
• Ling Xiao welcomed Tu Shan Aoshuang and secured Heavenly Court recognition for her and the Tushan Fox Clan, encouraging demon races to leave Lu Ya’s Demon Court.
• Lu Ya ordered his followers to provoke conflict between demon races and humans, and Demon Clan forces began attacking human settlements.
