Ying Zheng awakened the Human Dao as Wangshu and Ling Xiao attained the Golden Immortal of Grand Dao, while the Sect of Interception suffered Tongtian’s imprisonment and Our Lady of Golden Spirit’s death. Ling Xiao negotiated Tongtian’s release and began the Investiture of the Gods Ceremony as Rahu waited for his chance to return.

• Ying Zheng proclaimed himself common sovereign of the Human Clan, awakening the Human Dao, and Dao Ancestor Hongjun began the Primordial World’s transformation.
• Hongjun bestowed Tongtian’s Hongmeng Purple Energy on Yaochi, who later attained Sagehood, while Tongtian remained trapped in the Heavenly Prison.
• Wangshu attained the Golden Immortal of Grand Dao, and Ling Xiao followed by manifesting the Thirty-Sixth Grade Pure World White Lotus and reaching the same realm.
• Haotian executed Our Lady of Golden Spirit after Ling Xiao and Haotian’s scheme, driving Tongtian into despair and the Sect of Interception into grief.
• Ling Xiao offered Tongtian freedom and renewed strength in exchange for serving the Heavenly Court, and Tongtian accepted, forged the Fallen Saint Sword, and killed Wuzhiqi.
• Rahu and his allies considered using Tongtian to obtain his Jade Pure Origin, while Rahu waited for Ling Xiao to finish the ceremony before returning.
• Ling Xiao presided over the Investiture of the Gods Ceremony, summoned those named on the list, and called Tu Shan Aoshuang and Bai Jian before him.

Ling Xiao filled the Heavenly Court with newly appointed gods while Haotian attained Sagehood, then the court prepared for Demon Ancestor Rahu’s return. Demon Lord Jidu joined the Heavenly Court, Yang Jian advanced through battle, and Rahu arrived at Lingxiao Palace demanding Hongjun.

• Ling Xiao appointed Tian Boxun Emperor Fengdu and filled Heavenly Court posts, including Our Lady of Wudang as Doumu Yuanjun, Zhao Gongming as Great Emperor of North Yue, and Yang Jian as Judicial God of Heaven.
• Ling Xiao appointed the Five Directional Buddhas and many other deities, gave Jiang Ziya a role overseeing ministers and dynastic luck, and assigned Tongtian’s former disciples to serve the Heavenly Court.
• Haotian used the Chaos Bell, Primordial Chaos Codex, and Haotian Mirror to suppress the court’s fortune and attained Sagehood, then granted Tongtian Mount Cangwu and permission to rebuild the Sect of Interception.
• Rahu broke through the Primordial World’s barrier with the Town Heaven Demon Coffin, and Ling Xiao arranged for the Heavenly Court to confront him while recruiting Demon Lord Jidu with the God-Slaying Spear.
• Ling Xiao severed Jidu’s karmic bond to Rahu, and Jidu joined Pingxin, Yang Jian, Jin Chanzi, and the Heavenly forces against the Demonic Sect outside the Chaos.
• Yang Jian broke Gusu’s illusion, gained insight into the Great Love Dao, and received a reforged Three-Pointed Double-Edged Blade, while Rahu defeated Pingxin and agreed to go to Lingxiao Palace.
• Rahu entered Lingxiao Palace with Tongtian and his followers, demanded that Hongjun appear, and watched as the gathered great beings mocked his standing before the Dao Ancestor.

Ling Xiao brought the Demon Realm under Hongjun’s order, arranged the Demonic Sect’s new domain, and set plans in motion around Tongtian and the Journey to the West. The Lingming Stone Monkey became Sun Wukong and began training under Patriarch Bodhi, while Jin Ling’s tragic fate became part of the scheme against the Demonic Sect.

• Hongjun arrived at Lingxiao Palace, compelled Rahu to merge the Demon Realm into the Primordial World, and accepted Ling Xiao’s arrangement for the Demonic Sect to settle in Nanli Continent.
• Hongjun and Ling Xiao appointed Demon Lord Jidu to lead the Demonic Sect, while Rahu named Chonglou his candidate for Heavenly Dao Saint.
• Ling Xiao and the others planned to reshape the Journey to the West Tribulation, and Tongtian rebuilt the Palace of Green Essence as he sought to regain his former strength.
• The Lingming Stone Monkey emerged from Nuwa’s Five-Colored Stone on Flower Fruit Mountain, became the Monkey Descendants’ king, and set out across the East Sea to find a master.
• Ling Xiao secured Patriarch Bodhi’s agreement to take the monkey as a disciple, while Chonglou’s plan to use Jin Ling against Tongtian led to her accidentally killing the villagers and setting herself on fire.
• Patriarch Bodhi accepted the Lingming Stone Monkey, gave him the surname Sun and the Daoist name Wukong, and let him listen to teachings while assigning him chores instead of direct cultivation instruction.

Ling Xiao and Wangshu’s wedding brought the Primordial World together, while Tongtian was drawn into a scheme involving Jin Ling. Meanwhile, Sun Wukong obtained the Ruyi Jingu Bang and became the target of a Heavenly Court plot that left Flower-Fruit Mountain under attack.

• Yun Xiao severed her thoughts of desire for Ling Xiao, and the Heavenly Wedding Ceremony began with Ling Xiao’s grand procession to Penglai Immortal Island.
• Ling Xiao and Wangshu exchanged wedding vows before the Three Ways and the assembled beings, while Tongtian brooded over his declining Sect of Interception.
• Tongtian accepted Jin Ling as his personal disciple, but discovered that her origin carried Demon Lord Chonglou’s Demonic Dao Law and that their bond was changing.
• Patriarch Bodhi taught Sun Wukong powerful arts and sent him away to cultivate, after which Sun Wukong visited Perfected Lord Jade Tripod and flew to the East Sea Dragon Palace.
• Sun Wukong killed Ao Lie after the dragon prince provoked him, then claimed the Sea-Calming Divine Needle, which transformed into the Ruyi Jingu Bang.
• Ling Xiao arranged for Ao Lie to be restored as an Eightfold Heavenly Dragon, while Ao Guang and the Dragon Kings accused Sun Wukong of attacking the East Sea Dragon Palace.
• The Heavenly Court forces attacked Flower-Fruit Mountain, and their soldiers killed nearly a hundred Monkey Descendants as Sun Wukong fought to protect them.
• Sun Wukong broke through to the middle stage of Golden Immortal of Grand Dao, but the Three-Headed Flood Dragon and Howling Celestial Dog blocked him before Nezha advanced to fight.
