First Encounter With Konohamaru

"Then I'll take you to see Iruka-sensei first. He used to teach Naruto's classes. Now, you can go see him as a beginner. Iruka is a very approachable person, so don't feel restrained when you're there," Kakashi said to Ye Lan.

Ye Lan nodded silently, agreeing with Kakashi's assessment. Iruka-sensei's personality was considered quite good within Konoha Village.

Although Iruka was still a Chunin, his strength was considerable. Plus, because of Iruka's good nature, sending Ye Lan to the school as a student was the best plan. Moreover, as he knew, Iruka and Naruto had a significant connection stemming from Naruto's theft of the Scroll of Seals.

Naruto had been framed by Mizuki.

And it was at that time that only Iruka believed in Naruto, and he helped Naruto defeat Mizuki together. As a result, Iruka was injured, but he undoubtedly gained a very high place in Naruto's heart.

Kakashi turned around as he spoke, leading Ye Lan towards the Ninja Academy.

Before long, they arrived at the entrance of the Ninja Academy.

Ye Lan looked at the gate of the Ninja Academy, feeling a wave of emotion. From the outside, the Ninja Academy looked no different from an ordinary elementary school. And next to the school gate was a large tree, with a swing hanging from it.

This swing was where Naruto often sat. And Naruto should have just graduated from this school not long ago.

Just as he was about to step through the gate of the Ninja Academy, a little boy of about four or five years old suddenly popped out from beside the gate.

Ye Lan recognized the little boy at a glance as the Third Hokage's grandson, Konohamaru.

He thought, what is he doing here? But then he immediately understood. Konohamaru was only four or five years old now.

Wasn't he at the age to be attending the Ninja Academy? Thinking that way, there was nothing strange about it.

Konohamaru clearly hadn't paid much attention to Ye Lan. Instead, he looked at Kakashi with a face full of admiration and shouted loudly, "Wow, isn't that Jonin Kakashi-sensei?"

Every time I challenge Grandpa, I lose to him. Now's the perfect time to find a Jonin to test my skills. If I can defeat you, maybe it won't be long before I can defeat Grandpa and become Hokage!"

Ye Lan was speechless when he heard this. He thought, this little brat probably hasn't met Naruto yet, has he?

Before Kakashi could respond to Konohamaru, Konohamaru quickly charged towards Kakashi, holding a Kunai in his hand.

Kakashi smiled helplessly, not reacting much to Konohamaru's actions, merely standing there. He didn't make any other movements.

Sure enough, just as Ye Lan had thought, Konohamaru had only taken a few steps. Before he could even jump up, Kakashi had pressed down on his head with one hand, making it impossible for him to move an inch further.

Konohamaru shook his head unwillingly, trying to break free from Kakashi's hand, but he couldn't break free no matter what he did.
