Background

Li Ye is a transmigrator who awakened in the body of a cultivator whose meridians had been damaged by Qi Deviation. His only immediate resources were a family Storage Pouch, five Spirit Stones, a low-grade Magic Tool, Essence Nourishing Pills, and a withered Silver Moon Grass growing in his protected courtyard 1.

His Golden Finger allowed him to understand spirit plants and spirit beasts, then use Vital Essence to establish unusually close symbiotic bonds with them. These willing partnerships purified spiritual energy for him, accelerated his cultivation, and caused his spells to mutate in ways unavailable through ordinary coercive cultivation 4 37 42.
