Seiji pursued Urashiki through Plow and was cast a thousand years into the past, where he met and fell in love with Kaguya Otsutsuki. After regaining his memories on their wedding day, Seiji fought Urashiki as the Chakra Fruit ripened.

• Seiji baited Urashiki Otsutsuki into Kirigakure with Plow, then fought him with the help of the village’s barriers and Angkor Fortress’s Chakra Cannon.
• Urashiki Otsutsuki escaped through Plow, and Seiji followed him into a collapsing passage before they were thrown into the Space-Time Turbulence.
• Seiji emerged in the ancient Ninja World without his memories, founded the Land of Ancestors, and met Kaguya Otsutsuki after she arrived near the God Tree.
• Kaguya Otsutsuki taught Seiji to control Chakra, and they fell in love as Seiji gained power and began to suspect that his memories had been tampered with.
• Seiji awakened Six Paths Sage Mode, and he and Kaguya Otsutsuki prepared to marry as the God Tree’s Chakra Fruit ripened.
• Urashiki Otsutsuki attacked Kaguya Otsutsuki during the wedding, and Seiji recovered his memories while defending her.
• Seiji fought Urashiki Otsutsuki as his Shadow Clone healed Kaguya, who accepted Seiji’s account of the future and affirmed that they were family.
• Seiji and Urashiki Otsutsuki continued their battle, then turned toward the God Tree when the Chakra Fruit ripened.

Seiji returned from the past, began planning Kaguya’s release, and maneuvered against threats from Madara and Konoha. As Kirigakure’s teams competed in the Joint Chunin Exams, Nagato repelled Danzō’s assault, Mei defeated Might Duy, and Seiji secretly helped the Hyuga Branch Family escape Konoha.

• Seiji returned to his era, fed the sealed Urashiki to the Small Ten-Tails, and began planning to free Kaguya while managing Kirigakure’s influence and confronting Black Zetsu.
• Seiji revealed his identity as Kaguya’s husband to Black Zetsu and learned Madara Uchiha was drawing Natural Energy from the Dragon Vein in Roran.
• At the Joint Chunin Exams, Danzō’s Root forces attacked Nagato’s team, but Nagato fought them off and forced Danzō to retreat before Hiruzen arrived.
• Seiji met the other Kage at Konoha as the exams continued, while Danzō secretly prepared another ambush against Kirigakure’s group.
• Mei Terumi fought Might Duy in the third round, using her Tailed Beast power and Kekkei Genkai to withstand his Gates and defeat him.
• Seiji’s Shadow Clone removed the Caged Bird Seals from twenty-two Hyuga Branch Family members, and White Zetsu clones impersonated them while helping smuggle them out of Konoha to Kirigakure.

Nagato won the Joint Chunin Exams before Danzō ambushed the Kirigakure group and died after Nagato countered his repeated Izanagi revivals. Meanwhile, Seiji killed Madara Uchiha and returned to Kirigakure, leaving Hiruzen to discover Danzō and the Hyuga Branch Family were missing.

• Kisame defeated Yahiko, and the third round ended with Nagato defeating Mei Terumi to win the Joint Chunin Exams.
• Seiji traveled to Rōran, where he fought Madara Uchiha, countered his Sage techniques, and destroyed his Perfect Susanoo.
• Shimura Danzō ambushed the Kirigakure group, but Nagato and his allies fought back as Nagato repeatedly killed Danzō through his Izanagi revivals.
• Nagato used Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion to cut Danzō in two, and Danzō used his final Izanagi before dying while his Reverse Four Symbols Sealing failed to catch the Kirigakure group.
• Seiji destroyed Madara’s Thousand-Armed Buddha and Susanoo, pursued him after his Izanagi revival, and killed him with Dance of the Larch.
• Seiji collected Madara’s body and weapons, erased the battlefield traces, and returned to Kirigakure as other villages reacted to the fighting and Konoha’s weakness.
• Hiruzen learned that the Hyuga Main Family could no longer locate the missing branch members through the Caged Bird Seal, then found Root’s base deserted and discovered Danzō and the Hyuga Branch Family were gone.

As the Third Great Shinobi War began, Seiji led Kirigakure toward war and destroyed Mount Myōboku to confront the toads who had helped seal Kaguya. He left with a mysterious orb and toad corpses, but still needed more power before he could challenge Hagoromo and break Kaguya’s seal.

• Hagoromo awakened in the Pure Land after Madara’s death, watched Seiji through a fissure, and then withdrew as Seiji sensed him and vanished from Kirigakure.
• Sasori assassinated Third Kazekage Iron Sand, killed the Anbu accomplice, and left Sunagakure, whose leaders soon launched an invasion that began the Third Great Shinobi War.
• Seiji rallied Kirigakure’s leaders to join the war, planned to target Sunagakure first, and sent Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan against Hanzō as a proposed decapitation mission.
• Seiji entered Mount Myōboku with Black Zetsu and White Zetsu and killed the toads who tried to stop him, including Fukasaku, Shima, and the Three Toad Brothers.
• Seiji defeated and killed Gamamaru with the Thousand-Armed Buddha after the Great Toad Sage tried to seal him away.
• Seiji found a cracked blue orb containing sealed spacetime power, left the Ten-Tails to drain Mount Myōboku’s Natural Energy, and took toad corpses for Nagato’s Animal Path.
• Jiraiya and Minato sensed Mount Myōboku’s disappearance and mourned the loss of its toads and Great Toad Sage.
• Seiji gave Nagato the toad corpses, learned Amado had failed to repair Plow but had found a way to enhance Nagato’s Pupil Power, and resolved to grow strong enough to hold Hagoromo back.
