At that instant, Vegeta grasped the characteristics of the Super Saiyan transformation. His thoughts coincided with those of the Old Supreme Kai, and Vegeta gradually developed new ideas about the path beyond Super Saiyan. He knew that the path of Super Saiyan 3 did not suit him.

Even someone as powerful as Vegeta had his own convictions. Since he had already seen that their paths differed, he would choose anew the one he believed was right and continue onward.

With Vegeta's talent, perhaps he could develop a different kind of Super Saiyan transformation.

In truth, throughout the entire universe, all ultimate paths led to the same destination. Reaching the pinnacle of the universe and transcending the mundane was undoubtedly the more correct path. Blindly increasing one's strength only left one a mortal in the end. Decades or centuries later, one would still become a pile of bones, vanishing into the torrent of time, because one had never taken that final step.

Vegeta lowered his head in thought for a while. The more he considered it, the more certain he became that he had found the right path. A faint smile appeared at the corner of his lips, and then he turned his gaze to the arena. At that moment, Myers and Android 18 were fighting.

This was another battle on a different level. Even Son Goku and Vegeta could gain much insight from it.

Because both fighters stood infinitely close to the realm of gods, their movements always revealed traces of profoundly mysterious fluctuations. Every move, every stance, every attack and defense carried an indescribable rhythm. Every motion was filled with boundless beauty, as though amid countless possible responses, their actions were always the most correct ones.

Son Goku watched excitedly, gesturing wildly as anticipation shone brightly in his eyes.
