Chaya gathers the Super Dragon Balls and wishes for Mephia to master her Legendary Super Saiyan power, then leaves to train in Universe 6. While Earth’s warriors defeat El’s invasion and revive the victims, Chaya meets the powerful Posalen and learns how the Namekians came to live on Leifil Planet.

• Chaya used the Super Dragon Balls to make Mephia master her Legendary Super Saiyan power, and she woke peacefully.
• Chaya left for Universe 6 to train while Selyne and Myers stayed behind to care for their children.
• El’s Lizardmen invaded Earth, devastated East City, and fought Son Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Chi-Chi, and Yajirobe.
• Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu arrived with immense strength, and Tien killed El before helping defeat the remaining invaders.
• Chi-Chi summoned Shenron, who revived the dead and restored East City while warning Earth’s martial artists to prepare for powerful beings.
• Chaya found Posalen on Leifil Planet and sparred with him, then heard how Posalen had saved the surviving Namekians and brought them to the planet.
• Gabri recommitted himself to martial arts after learning that ordinary Earthlings had battle powers below 5.

Frieza’s army invaded Earth, and Piccolo, Vegeta, Goku, and the returning Saiyans fought to repel it. With Piccolo dead and Earth’s Dragon Balls gone, the survivors turned their hopes to Namek and prepared to train before Frieza arrived.

• Martial arts schools spread across Earth as Mr. Satan decided to climb Korin Tower again, while Cui headed for Earth and Chaya traveled with Vados to meet Hit.
• Hit defeated Chaya, and Chi-Chi led Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu to King Kai’s Planet for training.
• Piccolo killed Cui, prompting Frieza to send Tagoma and more than ten thousand soldiers to conquer Earth, while Vegeta set out for Earth with Nappa.
• Chaya trained Xia Qing, Silica, and Mephia as Goku and the others learned Kaioken and the Spirit Bomb from King Kai.
• Kami warned that Frieza’s army was approaching, and Piccolo and Gohan fought the invaders at South City while Vegeta and Nappa arrived on Earth.
• Piccolo died protecting Gohan, and Vegeta and Nappa confronted Tagoma as Chaya brought two thousand Saiyans from Red Mountain Star to Earth.
• Chaya defeated Tagoma, and the Saiyans destroyed the invading force while Vegeta departed for Namek to seek its Dragon Balls.
• Frieza and the Abo and Kado brothers also set their sights on Namek, while Chaya promised to take Goku and the others there after they trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Chaya and the others fought Frieza and his forces on Namek, then escaped before the planet’s destruction. Afterward, Son Goku traveled to Yardrat while Chaya returned to Creation Star to refine his power.

• Chaya took the group to Namek, where the Grand Elder unlocked the warriors’ potential and Nail used Porunga to revive Piccolo and relocate most of the Namekians.
• Frieza arrived on Namek, and Chaya revealed his Super Saiyan power before battling Frieza as Xia Qing and the others confronted the enemy forces.
• Frieza transformed into Silver Frieza and later used a mysterious crystal to gain more power, while Piccolo joined the fight against Abokat.
• Chaya awakened Super Saiyan 3, defeated Frieza, and trapped him in a spatial sphere as he tried to destroy Namek.
• Chaya evacuated the survivors before Namek exploded, and Son Goku killed Abokat while Nail merged with Piccolo.
• After the group returned to Earth, Vegeta remained there, and Chaya worked to address Super Saiyan 3’s energy drain.
• Son Goku visited Red Mountain Star for Elsie’s wedding, trained with Bardock, then traveled alone to Planet Yardrat.
• Chaya took Selyne and Myers to Creation Star, where they began climbing while he continued upward to the two hundred and tenth layer.

Chaya prepared the fighters for the Android threat while Trunks trained in a parallel timeline, but Cell absorbed Android 17 and Android 18 before Selyne forced him to regress and seemingly killed him. Mira secretly revived Cell, who escaped and vowed revenge as the story returned to the Sacred Temple.

• Chaya welcomed Trunks from a parallel timeline and warned the warriors that Androids 17 and 18 would arrive in three years, while Trunks returned to his future to protect Bulma.
• Androids 19 and 20 attacked near South City, but Vegeta destroyed Android 19 and the others discovered that the old man was Dr. Gero.
• Android 17 and Android 18 killed Dr. Gero and fought the warriors, until Myers overwhelmed them and urged Trunks to train rather than rely on others.
• Chaya destroyed the laboratory containing larval Cell, then gave Trunks Dr. Gero’s blueprints and sent him to train after he discovered Cell’s time machine and shed shell.
• Cell attacked Android 17, Android 18, and Android 16, absorbed Android 17, and later reached his Perfect form after Vegeta allowed him to absorb Android 18.
• Selyne confronted Perfect Cell, forced him to regurgitate Android 18 and Android 17, then reduced him to a mass of flesh.
• Mira revived Cell with a blood-colored crystal, and Cell fled while vowing to regain his Perfect form and kill Selyne, Android 17, Android 18, and Trunks.
• Selyne returned to the Sacred Temple with Android 18 as the United Kingdom’s king learned that 1.2 million people had vanished from fifteen southern cities.
