"Be careful. Enemies are up ahead," Roman suddenly warned as the group ventured deeper into the mountains.
"That's strange. There shouldn't be any enemies here." Hearing Roman's warning, Hassan of the Cursed Arm found it odd. While this era's mountains were not lacking in magical beasts and the like, they were already close to First Hassan's domain. Even magical beasts would not normally linger here.
"Undead. It seems that person doesn't want us getting any closer." The moment she saw what the enemy was, Serenity said to Hassan of the Cursed Arm.

After the battle, Hassan of the Cursed Arm and Serenity Hassan immediately tidied up their appearances. Then, with expressions as solemn as pilgrims, they slowly walked toward the temple ahead. As Hassans, their reverence for First Hassan was something others could never truly understand.
"This is..." Mash, Ritsuka, and the others followed the two Hassans inside. The instant they stepped into the temple, they sensed an extraordinary pressure.
"What's wrong, Mash?" Roman hurriedly asked.
"It's nothing." Just as Mash spoke, her expression abruptly changed. She immediately raised her shield to block the left side. Her action put Ritsuka and the others on alert as well, but strangely, after waiting for a while, they found neither an attack nor anyone appearing.
"Dr. Roman, did something happen just now? I felt as though someone attacked me."
"Someone attacked you?
