There was no doubt that Kukulkan knew a great many things—for example, why she possessed the body of a Dinos yet did not resemble one. She definitely knew the answer, so there was no need for Da Vinci to analyze it; they could simply ask her. But a god was still a god. Taking her help for granted, as something she ought to provide, would be utterly lacking in restraint. Perhaps some people were like that, but Chaldea certainly was not.

Kukulkan had originally been the Lostbelt King. In any other Lostbelt, she would have stood opposed to Chaldea. The fact that she was helping Chaldea now was already more than enough. To ask for more would be greed.

"So that's how it is." The next day, the group arrived at the Galactic Dunes of the Third Underworld Line. According to Tepeu's earlier introduction, this was a desert region. Yet despite being a desert, it had many oases. The sun was also obscured, which was bad news for the Dinos, since they needed sunlight for photosynthesis, but excellent news for a desert. Unfortunately, by the time they reached the Third Underworld Line, the Galactic Dunes were gone.

"Hahaha, what's going on here? I'm starting to feel like throwing in the towel." Though he was supposed to be their guide, Tepeu had been unable to fulfill that role, leaving him somewhat dejected.

"Senpai, are you all right?" Mash looked at Ritsuka with concern. Though this Third Underworld Line was still a desert, it was fundamentally different from the Galactic Dunes. The scorching heat, raging hurricanes, dry grit, and abnormal gravity made Mash worry about Ritsuka.

"Eighty degrees Celsius. Even a Dinos would shrivel up after spending a few days here." Mictlan's temperatures were high, but they were nowhere near this extreme.
