• Jieyin and Zhunti bowed to the Devil Dao, and Jieyin explained the plans of the Heavenly Dao and Hongjun for the canonization of the gods.
• The Devil Dao realized that the Heavenly Dao's return would threaten him and decided the canonization plan had to be sabotaged.
• Jieyin and Zhunti offered to cooperate and take part in the canonization of the gods, promising to obstruct the Heavenly Dao's plan.

Li Yun confronted the Demonic Path, explained that he was not bound by the Human Dao, and agreed to accept Demonic Path origin power. The Demonic Path gave him the origin and wagered that Li Yun would fail to absorb it.

• The Demonic Path accused Li Yun of plotting to make Li Mo its spokesperson, and Li Yun argued that Li Mo’s help had saved it from Luomo.
• Jieyin and Zhunti realized Li Yun had the Human Dao’s power without being bound by it.
• The Demonic Path offered Li Yun its origin power and suggested it might further evolve his eyes.
• Li Yun recalled Li Mo to his sea of consciousness and accepted the Demonic Path origin.

Li Yun absorbed the Demonic Dao origin, balancing it with the Human Dao and Earthly Dao and advancing to the mid-stage of the Saint realm. The remaining origin empowered Li Mo to reach Saint Completion, while Jieyin and Zhunti grew more convinced that the Heavenly Dao offered them no freedom or future.

• Li Yun accepted the Demonic Dao origin and used his Eye of Heaven and Earth to absorb it.

Li Yun settled Ye Qingcheng’s matter with the Demonic Path, secured a token that could sense Luomo, and confirmed that Merge with Dao would not give the Demonic Path unrestricted control over Li Mo. Li Yun departed, while Jieyin and Zhunti asked the Demonic Path to approve their cooperation.

• Li Yun accepted the compensation for Ye Qingcheng but demanded information about Luomo, and the Demonic Path said Luomo had left the Western Region.
• When Li Yun challenged the Demonic Path’s claim that he did not know Luomo’s whereabouts, the Demonic Path offered to help find him.
• The Demonic Path gave Li Yun a token that would glow when Luomo was nearby, and Li Yun accepted it.

Ye Qingcheng accepted the position of lord of the Demon Race, but used the Law of Devour to resist the transformation imposed by the Demon-Sealing List and became a devil saint body. She rejected the Devil Dao’s offer to unlock its full power and remain human, while the Devil Dao departed and urged Li Mo to protect her.

• Ye Qingcheng agreed to become lord of the Demon Race, and Li Mo used the Demon-Sealing List to invest her with the position.
• Ye Qingcheng devoured the guiding Demonic Path Power, reached the quasi-saint late stage, and condensed demonic energy into a petal that restored her human appearance.
• The Devil Dao identified Ye Qingcheng’s new condition as a devil saint body and said she could synchronize with its power to reach the primordial unity limitless realm.

Yuanshi Tianzun negotiated the divine positions in the Investiture of the Gods with Di Jun, Nuwa, and Fuxi, using his control of the artifact to demand five of the nine positions. The Demon Race accepted its share, and Yuanshi brought out the Investiture so the others could sign their names.

• Di Jun gathered with Nuwa, Fuxi, and Yuanshi Tianzun to discuss the Investiture of the Gods.
• Yuanshi reserved two Four Imperial positions and three Great Emperor positions for himself, refusing Nuwa’s counteroffer and warning that they could compete by force if they disagreed.
• Di Jun reminded Yuanshi that Hongjun had promised a Four Imperial position to his son, and Yuanshi suggested that Fuxi could take the other position.
• Yuanshi explained that Fuxi might become a Saint as one of the Four Imperials and that Di Jun’s children could gain power and protection through the Investiture.
• Di Jun agreed that the Demon Race would take two of the remaining Great Emperor positions, and Yuanshi placed the Investiture on the table for them to sign.

Nuwa and Di Jun signed members of the Demon Race into the Investiture of the Gods, reserving some blank positions as a safeguard. Yuanshi Tianzun then explained that the Investiture would begin when the ten princes competed to choose a successor to the Demon Emperor.

• Yuanshi Tianzun warned Nuwa and the others that refusing to sign could bring a terrible price, even preventing the dead from being revived.
• Nuwa signed Fuxi for a Four Imperials position and her attendant Spirit Pearl for a Great Emperor position, then gave the Investiture to Di Jun and Eastern Emperor Taiyi.
• Di Jun signed Di Yi for a Four Imperials position and, at Eastern Emperor Taiyi's suggestion, signed Yuehua for a Great Emperor position.
• Di Jun added the other nine Golden Crows, the nine Jade Rabbits, Xi He, Changxi, and other promising Demon Race descendants, while leaving seventy or eighty slots blank.
• Yuanshi Tianzun said the Demon Race had to begin the Investiture by having the nine Golden Crows other than Great Golden Crow compete to become the Demon Emperor's successor, and said those signed would have to contribute to earn recognition.

The Humanity Dao summoned Laozi, Li Xuan, Xuandu, Luoyang, and others to reveal its plan to create 365 gods and bind the Human Race to the Human Ranking. It drew inspiration from Li Yun’s zodiac animals and twenty-four solar terms, as the Heavenly Dao prepared for the Canonization of the Gods and a final confrontation loomed.

• The Humanity Dao transformed the Wordless Heavenly Book into the Human Book, made it into a scroll, and gave it to Laozi as the Human Ranking.
• The Humanity Dao explained that the Human Race needed to create 365 divine beings to complete the Human Ranking and strengthen the Humanity Dao before the coming conflict.
• Luochuan asked whether binding the Human Race to the Humanity Dao would endanger the people, and the Humanity Dao described the benefits and risks.
• Luochuan agreed that the Human Race would cooperate and asked how the Human Ranking would create gods.
• The Humanity Dao revealed that Li Yun’s appointment of the twelve zodiac animals and twenty-four solar terms had inspired its God Creation Plan.

Li Xuan explained how the Twelve Zodiac Animals and Twenty-Four Solar Terms became guardian gods, while Humanity Dao clarified how the Human Ranking would bind and empower divine humans. Laozi decided to begin filling the ranking, starting with the Three Human Ancestors, while Li Xuan went to ask the existing guardian gods for their consent.

• Li Xuan explained that the Twelve Zodiac Animals and Twenty-Four Solar Terms drew power from human faith and offerings, and that he could erase them if they failed their duties.
• Humanity Dao explained that Human Ranking members could be resurrected but would depend on the human race's fate, faith, and incense offerings.
• Luochuan proposed making the Three Human Ancestors divine humans, and Li Xuan supported the idea.

Earthly Dao gathered the Twelve Ancestor Witches, Ancestor Minghe, and Zhen Yuanzi to begin its own Investiture of the Gods and explained its benefits and costs. It gave Houtu the Book of Life and Death and Judge's Brush to help find suitable candidates, though some would remain impossible to identify.

• Humanity Dao left after Laozi began recording names for its god-creation plan.
• Earthly Dao told the gathered leaders that Heavenly Dao and Humanity Dao were preparing their own investitures, so Earthly Dao would conduct one as well.
• Ancestor Minghe asked how Earthly Dao's investiture would work and what benefits it offered, while warning that their followers would not accept needless sacrifices.
• Earthly Dao explained that Earth Book members would gain its blessings, be revived after death, and potentially reach Early Saint Stage, but completing the investiture could require many deaths.

Earthly Dao ordered Houtu and the Ancestor Witches to identify and protect their clansmen before the Canonization of the Gods, while Ancestor Minghe and Zhen Yuanzi began their assigned work. After the Three Sovereigns told Li Yun that Human Dao had begun its God Creation Plan, he proposed separating human rights from divine rights as a way for the Human Race to contend with it.

• Earthly Dao directed Houtu and the others to act quickly and finish their preparations before Heavenly Dao and Human Dao completed the Canonization of the Gods.
• Houtu refined the Book of Life and Death and the Judge's Brush, then gave incarnations of them to Ancestor Minghe and Zhen Yuanzi to carry out their task.
• Houtu told Dijiang and the other Ancestor Witches to speed up selecting Witch Clan members for the Earthly Dao Rankings.

Li Yun instructed the Three Sovereigns to separate human authority from divine authority and protect the human race from Humanity Dao's interference. After they left to carry out his plan, he confronted Li Xuan and discovered that Humanity Dao had secretly guided Li Xuan's will and judgment.

• Li Yun told Luochuan and the other two to establish a separate divine-human lineage, reserve human rule for the Human Emperor, and suppress Human Race Destiny with their natal Lingbao.
• Luochuan and the other two thanked Li Yun and hurried away to act before the God Creation Plan resumed.
• Li Yun summoned Li Xuan and demanded to know whether he had ignored the threat to the human race or chosen to side with Humanity Dao.
• Li Xuan examined himself and realized Humanity Dao had obscured and guided his will, causing him to overlook the human race's interests.

Li Yun grew concerned that Laozi might have been brainwashed and summoned him and Sect Master Tongtian to seek guidance on accelerating his cultivation. Laozi began outlining two possible paths, but the chapter ended before he finished explaining the first.

• Li Yun and Li Xuan realized Laozi might have been brainwashed, and Li Yun said the situation needed an immediate test.
• Li Yun entrusted Human Race affairs to Li Xuan, who agreed to focus on the God-Making Plan and leave other matters to Li Yun's disciples and Senior Brother Xuandu.

Li Yun agreed to cultivate the Space-Time Law and learned from Laozi where the River of Time lay, while realizing that Laozi was under the Humanity Dao’s influence. After Laozi left, Li Yun and Tongtian prepared to return to Jin'ao Island before Li Yun went after Luomo.

• Tongtian warned Li Yun against the danger of seeking a breakthrough in the River of Time, but Li Yun explained he had once comprehended the Space-Time Law and fused it into his Law of Strength.
• Laozi promised to find resources for Li Yun and told him the River of Time’s source lay in a Chaos Sea deep within Chaos, offering the Humanity Dao’s protection if Li Yun told him before entering.
• Li Yun resolved to warn Tongtian later and kept quiet about Li Xuan so he would not alert Laozi.
• Li Yun told Laozi he planned to leave the Human Race to eliminate Luomo, and Laozi agreed before returning to oversee the Humanity Dao’s Canonization of the Gods.
• Tongtian said he needed to return because the Heavenly Dao’s Canonization of the Gods threatened the Interception Sect, and Li Yun proposed they go to Jin'ao Island first.

Li Yun and Sect Master Tongtian left the Human Race Ancestral Temple for Jin'ao Island, while Luochuan and two others announced the God Creation Plan and established a contract separating future divine beings from Human Race authority. Humanity Dao realized the contract had thwarted his plan to control the Human Race and blamed Li Yun.

• Li Yun and Sect Master Tongtian left the Human Race Ancestral Temple and flew toward Jin'ao Island.
• Luochuan and the other two gained the Three Human Ancestors' support, gathered Human Race Destiny, and announced the God Creation Plan.
• Luochuan and the other two declared that divine beings would have to protect the Human Race and could not control its human authority or Human Sovereign succession.
• Luochuan and the other two used their Enlightenment Treasures to establish the Humanity Dao Contract, which excluded anyone transformed into a divine being.

Humanity Dao admitted that Li Yun had thwarted its attempt to control the Human Race, though it vowed to continue its plans. Back on Jin'ao Island, Li Yun and Sect Master Tongtian sealed the island against the emerging Heaven and Earth Tribulation, and Tongtian announced that the Jie Teachings would remain inside for safety.

• Humanity Dao acknowledged that the Human Race Destiny and Contract prevented humans from violating the contract and vowed not to abandon its plans.
• Li Yun and Sect Master Tongtian returned to Jin'ao Island and sensed that the Investiture of the Gods tribulation was disturbing the disciples.
• Li Yun urged Sect Master Tongtian to seal Jin'ao Island and stop the tribulation power from invading.

He and Lingbao Tianzun confirmed that neither the Heavenly Dao nor Hongjun had contacted the Jie Teachings about the Canonization of the Gods.

• Sect Master Tongtian brought Kong Xuan, Da Peng, and the others to Biyou Palace after driving the Tribulation away from Jin'ao Island.
• Li Yun confirmed that he had attained Dao and advised Kong Xuan to develop his Law’s potential if he wished to become a Saint.
• Sect Master Tongtian told his disciples the Tribulation would return and ordered them to seal the Myriad Immortals Formation’s entrances, suppress anyone who tried to leave, and move their cultivation grounds there.
• Kong Xuan and the others accepted the order and hurried to the entrances to seal them.

Li Yun warned Sect Master Tongtian that becoming a Dao spokesperson or merging with a Dao could alter a person's will, and that the Heavenly Dao, Earthly Dao, Humanity Dao, and Devil Dao would target Tongtian because he remained free. He revealed that the Humanity Dao was pushing him to leave the Primordial World, but said he had to go seek a breakthrough so he could eventually save his master and the others.

• Sect Master Tongtian sent Lingbao Tianzun to Kunlun Mountain to congratulate Second Brother and learn whether he truly intended to follow the Heavenly Dao.
• Li Yun told Sect Master Tongtian that becoming a Dao spokesperson or merging with a Dao could silently influence and change someone's will.
• Li Yun explained that the free Sect Master Tongtian would be targeted by the four Dao, while the other Dao-bound figures had been affected.

Li Yun appeared before Luomo outside the Ten Thousand Volcanoes and revealed that he had seen through the tracking trick hidden in the Devil Dao token. Luomo was trapped by Li Yun’s space-time law and, with no escape, demanded to know what Li Yun wanted.

• Luomo found that Vermilion Bird’s power and the wards around the Ten Thousand Volcanoes kept him from entering, so he turned to investigate other sealed grounds.
• As Luomo prepared to leave, he sensed an unsettling aura and summoned his spear, but Li Yun’s Space-Time Tunnel opened nearby.
• Li Yun used Space-Time: Lockdown to immobilize Luomo, then emerged and told him he had uncovered the trick hidden in the Devil Dao token.
• Luomo realized his plan had failed and threatened that Luohu would retaliate against Li Yun, his clone, and his wife if Li Yun killed him.
