Li Yun uncovered Hongjun’s scheme to place Eastern Duke in control of the Dragon Clan and learned that the Demon Clan had grown dangerous. As Li Yun was enthroned, he gained Human Race Faith, forged the Great Emperor Sword from Merit, and watched Laozi publicly challenge the path to sainthood through Severing the Three Corpses.
Li Yun was enthroned as Human Race Great Emperor, defeated Ghost Chariot, and won the Fusang Tree from Di Jun before agreeing to a future contest over the Fusang and Osmanthus Trees. After the ceremony, the Dragon Clan learned that Blood Dragon was Eastern Duke’s reincarnation, while Yuanshi Tianzun accepted the Ancestor Dragon Lineage as a dependent of the Chan Teachings.
Li Yun secured alliances with the Dragon and Kirin Clans, then cultivated three powerful clones from the Yellow Middle Plum, Immortal Apricot, and Fusang Tree. The Fusang clone gained a demonic nature, leaving Li Yun uncertain which path it should follow.
Li Yun strengthened the Human Race and guided his disciples while investigating the Earthly Dao’s offer to Minghe and Zhen Yuanzi. He refused a Saint Seat, arranged an alliance between the Earthly and Humanity Dao, and found their combined origins heading toward him.
Li Yun perfected his Chaos Law and reached the Quasi-Saint Realm, while the revelation of the Demonic Path’s infiltration unsettled the cultivators gathered at the Sea of Blood. As a new tribulation approached, Houtu and three other Ancestor Witches accepted the Earthly Dao’s Saint Seats.
Li Yun helped Da Peng change his path of cultivation while arranging for his avatar Li Mo to enter the Demon Race through Yuan Ming. The arc ended with Da Peng advancing through Destiny and Wudang seeking the Phoenix Clan’s Nirvana Fire to perfect her Nine Deaths Law.
Li Yun and Sect Master Tongtian saved Zhurong by transferring his Devil Eye to Li Mo, whose transformation earned him the Devil Dao’s recognition. The Phoenix Clan agreed to seek powerful Demon Generals as Da Peng’s Enthronement Ceremony brought visitors to the Ten Thousand Volcanoes.
Li Yun guided Da Peng through reconciliation with rival clans and his rise as Phoenix Clan Master, while Feng Xue'er broke her shackles through the Law of Life and Death. The Phoenix Clan exposed a Swan Lineage infiltration, and Li Yun proposed using the captured possessed clansmen.
Li Yun settled the Phoenix Clan’s affairs, uncovered Yuan Feng and Divine Phoenix’s history, and took Zhu Xuan’er as his disciple. After helping Vermilion Bird transform her fire, he entered the chaos gate, encountered a Chaos Beast, and returned badly injured after nearly a thousand years away.
Li Yun claimed the Wordless Heavenly Book after defeating Fuxi, then gathered sworn guards and carried it toward the Human Race. The arc left him fighting Eastern Duke and the Dragon Clan, who sought to take the book by force.
Li Yun defeated Eastern Duke and used the Sea Calming Divine Pearls to complete the Thirty-Six Heavens, then helped the Human Dao appoint Li Xuan as its spokesperson and returned the Human Book. Laozi merged with the Human Dao, while the Earthly Dao began preparing its own rulers and Hongjun set the Heavenly Dao against those plans.
Li Xuan and Xuandu became Saints as Li Yun prepared the Human Race for the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors. Li Yun also accepted Ye Qingcheng as his successor, while the selection of Emperor candidates left Xuandu facing a succession problem.
Li Yun investigated the Dragon Clan’s attack on the Human Race, confronted its leaders, and secured a share of its fortune for Qing Xuan and Huang Long. Meanwhile, Li Xuan and the Saints pushed their world-creation trial further, and Li Yun arrived at Pangu Hall to meet Dijiang.
Di Jun transformed into the Demon Dao while the Witch and Human Clans began integrating, and Tongtian broke through the Heavenly Dao’s restraints. The arc ended with Li Yun, Xuanming, and Tongtian in Chaos, where a spirit of heaven and earth resisted Nuwa, Jieyin, and Zhunti.
Li Yun and his allies subdued the Spirit of Heaven and Earth, advanced their cultivation, and reshaped the balance among the three Dao through Xuanming’s choice of Houtu as successor. The arc left Li Yun seeking a creation Dao Fruit while Li Xuan cultivated toward the half-step Dao Ancestor realm.
Li Xuan and Minghe strengthened and stabilized the Small Primordial World while Houtu took on the task of supporting it. After Li Yun returned to the Human Race, he uncovered the Demonic Path’s plot against Ye Qingcheng and rooted out the traitors who had helped it.
Li Yun settled the Human Race’s traitors and strengthened its order before turning to Ye Qingcheng’s demonic cultivation. As the Heavenly Dao empowered Yuanshi Tianzun to carry out the Investiture of the Gods, Li Mo decided the Demonic Path had to descend and act against the plan.
Li Yun opposed the four Dao’s plans to control the Human Race and the Jie Teachings, while the Demonic Path empowered Li Mo, Ye Qingcheng, Jieyin, and Zhunti. After arranging protections and setting out to seek a breakthrough, Li Yun caught Luomo in a Space-Time Lockdown and confronted him.
Li Yun strengthened his Pangu bloodline in the Witch Clan’s Blood Pool, then explored Pangu’s inheritance grounds and uncovered dangerous beings posing as Pangu. He learned the inheritance sites held rule spirits and left to warn the Ancestor Witches, while Pan Yin called him back with another request.
Li Yun perfected his Space-Time Law, stole treasures and Chaos Demon God corpses from Zixiao Palace, and escaped Luohu and his pursuers. In the Chaos Sea, he met Yang Mei and swore to eliminate Luohu and Hongjun in exchange for Yang Mei’s aid, then used exploding clones to evade pursuit.
