Gu Chen’s forces conquered the cities between the border and Spirit City, then destroyed the capital with a Level 12 Fixed Soul Cannon. Dai Heng escaped, but Feng Xiaoyu killed him and reunited with Gu Chen alongside a recovering Luo Chen.

• Su Bai reported Shimo City’s capture as Lu Yan’s forces seized Minglu City, while Gu Chen’s Shadow Guards fought the Xiao Family in Immortal Rain City and killed Xiao Hun, Xiao Tianhong, and Xiao Min.
• Gu Chen’s army advanced through Three Stars City, where Hua Bu Luo used his flower technique to decimate the reinforcements before completing his Flower God trial.
• Gu Chen gathered Thousand Jun Douluo’s forces and captured Chess Cloth City after a fierce battle, then sent Feng Xiaoyu to scout the heavily fortified Spirit City.
• Gu Chen ordered the He Family evacuated and fired the Level 12 Fixed Soul Cannon at Spirit City, which Dai Heng’s Soul Fusion Star Shield failed to protect.
• Dai Heng escaped the destruction with a Thousand Mile Teleportation Talisman, and Gu Chen dispatched Feng Xiaoyu, Luo Chen, and others to search for him.
• Dai Heng attacked Feng Xiaoyu, but she broke free of his control and killed him with the Wind God’s Thousand Mile Enemy Slaying Wind God Sword.
• Feng Xiaoyu confessed her love to Luo Chen, and Gu Chen and Gu Yuena arrived the next morning to help treat Luo Chen’s injuries.

Gu Chen secured Gengxin City, helped his allies advance their divine inheritances, and sealed the Abyss Plane passage before traveling to the otherworldly continent. He aided Earthwalk Barrier, helped Xuan Mo complete his third Earth God trial, and returned to camp wondering whether he could ever go home.

• Gu Chen took the Imperial Seal, named the rebuilt city Gui Xu City, and captured Gengxin City by winning Lou Gao and Si Long’s allegiance and bringing its blacksmiths and residents into the Spirit Hall Empire.
• Feng Xiaoyu formed a Nascent Soul and received the Nine-Colored Goddess’s inheritance, while Luo Chen also gained a divine inheritance.
• Gu Chen and Gu Yuena subdued the Titan Snow Demon King, and Xue Youyou cured the Ice Empress and Snow Empress of their curses before the two agreed to serve Gu Chen.
• Xue Youyou began the Ice God’s inheritance trial, while Ye Wuyou completed his fourth and fifth Death God trials as Gu Chen sealed the Abyss Plane rift with the Oblivion Spirit Sealing Array.
• Gu Chen assigned the Great Wall Guard Army to the Spirit Hall Empire and crossed to the otherworldly continent, where he saved Earthwalk Barrier by killing the seventh-rank demon tiger corpse.
• Gu Chen gathered Earth Element Condensation Crystals from the battlefield and gave them to Xuan Mo, who completed his third Earth God trial and evolved his Mountain Shattering Shield into the Earth God Heavy Shield.
• Gu Chen returned to camp with Xuan Mo, shared Yangzhou Fried Rice with his companions, and wondered whether he could return to his original world after defeating the God Realm.

Gu Chen overthrew Qian Xunji, claimed the Spirit Hall Empire, and consolidated his rule while preparing for the coming collision with the Sun Moon Continent. After rebels were destroyed by the Death Ray Tower, Gu Chen seized the Heaven Dou Empire’s Imperial Seal from Xue Qian and returned toward Spirit City.

• Gu Chen and Gu Yuena broke through their seals, reached level eighty-nine, and led their forces toward Spirit City while avoiding cities whose people were not their enemies.
• Li Zhiying’s betrayal exposed the army’s advance, but Gu Chen’s forces defeated the Royal Imperial Soul Master Army and killed its three Title Douluos.
• Gu Chen’s army reached Spirit City, defeated its defenders, and Gu Chen killed Miao Yuheng and Qian Xunji before proclaiming himself emperor of the Spirit Hall Empire.
• Gu Chen shaped the empire’s Profound Yellow Power of Destiny, appointed his companions and allies to positions of power, and ordered the Shadow Guard expanded to monitor officials and nobles.
• Gu Chen installed a Death Ray Tower above the imperial palace and named it the Nation-Protecting Divine Pagoda, which killed Xue Liming and the rebels who attacked it.
• Zhang Wuliang and Rou'er escaped the tower’s attacks and agreed to marry as they planned to flee to the Sun Moon Continent.
• Gu Chen met the captured Xue Qian, learned that he had given the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud to Tang San, and discovered that Tang San was trying to complete the Sea God trial while Bo Saixi searched for him.
• Gu Chen extracted the Heaven Dou Empire’s Imperial Seal from Xue Qian’s sea of consciousness, killed him, and ordered the Heaven Punishing Army to rest before returning to Spirit City.

Gu Chen and Gu Yuena exploited the Sun Moon Empire’s civil war by supplying the Council with weapons and recruiting the Demon Forest’s soul beasts. The Council captured Hengyu City, while Gu Chen moved to Mingdu and arranged to attract Emperor Xu Zheng with the promise of immortality.

• Gu Chen returned to Spirit City, delegated his affairs to Wu You, sent his companions to investigate anti-empire activity, and traveled with Gu Yuena across the sea to the Sun Moon Continent.
• After learning about the civil war between the Sun Moon Empire’s emperor and the Council, Gu Chen joined the Bounty Hunter Guild and located Council Speaker Zhang Haisheng in Sha Yue City.
• Gu Chen sold Zhang Haisheng Milk Bottles and P9 pistols, and the Council approved buying one hundred thousand pistols for one hundred million gold coins.
• Ovi Apitz ambushed Zhang Haisheng, but Gu Chen and Gu Yuena killed the attackers, and Gu Chen completed the pistol sale with Zhang.
• Marcia Aguilar led an attack on the Emperor’s Army’s Soul Engineers, and Zhang Haisheng helped her defeat the legion commanders as the Pistol Regiment repelled the siege of Sha Yue City.
• Gu Chen and Gu Yuena subdued the Evil Eye Tyrant Overlord, planted a spiritual seed in it, and ordered it to gather Demon Forest’s soul beasts into a legion.
• Zhang Haisheng sent Mattai Ismael and Marcia Aguilar to capture Hengyu City, where City Breaker breached the walls and the Pistol Regiment forced the defenders to surrender.
• Gu Chen and Gu Yuena reached Mingdu, obtained the imperial palace map, and arranged for hunters to spread word that an immortal carrying an Elixir of Immortality would arrive in seven days.
